OR are just amused by American politics?

Probably the same amount as dads.

Coughsweet · 24/07/2024 17:14

Eleventy-one mums, and thrice on Sundays.

ramblingfool · 24/07/2024 17:14

Would be interesting to see data on that. I have my doubts.

OP posts:
Coughsweet · 24/07/2024 17:15

Definitely eleventy-two dads, I know because they told me.

IncompleteSenten · 24/07/2024 17:15

That's an odd question.
Are you saying that because we are mums we have less interest or more interest?
What is it about our parental status that you believe is a factor?

PosiePerkinPootleFlump · 24/07/2024 17:16

We are all too busy with kittens and knitting for all that political stuff. Leave that to the men!

Coughsweet · 24/07/2024 17:16

And eleventy-two is more than eleventy-one. So more dads.

MagicianMoth · 24/07/2024 17:16

901.7
Sixty billion
Eleventy
A mum a mum a mum and a half,half a mum and a mum

Coughsweet · 24/07/2024 17:17

But wait, the Sundays! Quadruple time in Sundays as well so super biggly interest.

mitogoshi · 24/07/2024 17:17

Some mums are American!

ramblingfool · 24/07/2024 17:17

I know a few mums. Few follow American politics. Not saying none do, just not many. No data to back that up, but in conversation, they rather talk about the latest gossip. Just sayin'.

OP posts:
ramblingfool · 24/07/2024 17:18

Wouldn't that make them moms?

OP posts:
Coughsweet · 24/07/2024 17:18

But are their kittens interested in American politics? I think we should be told.

Men in conversation: sports and politics.
Mums in conversations: kids and gossip.

ramblingfool · 24/07/2024 17:20

Dogs maybe, not kittens.

Someone is keeping the data from us. It’ll be the Ragdolls, sneaky little fuckers, I’ve never liked them.

At least the mums have the priorities in the right place.

Loads of my friends and me

ChildlessCatLady · 24/07/2024 17:21

For goodness' sake, we've just been through this! All of the mums and dads follow it, because they have a stake in the future. It's just the childless cat ladies, of all sexes, who can afford to ignore it.

SallyWD · 24/07/2024 17:22

I find this a strange question. I'm a mum and very interested in politics, including American politics. I was interested in politics before becoming a mum and that hasn't changed.
Of course millions of people (including mums, child free women, dads, child free men) have no interest in politics. I'm not sure why you single out mums?

Oh dear

Mums in conversations: kids and gossip.

Maybe you haven't given them the secret signal so stick to the "safe" topics of kids and gossip.

surlycurly · 24/07/2024 17:23

If I don't have a man to do all the important thinking for me, am I allowed to be interested in American politics? Just asking...

SallyWD · 24/07/2024 17:24

Maybe just the women you know OP? I have many female friends who are interested in politics.
