I wish I knew what you were talking about but Instagram shut me out of my Instagram account for no good reason.
On my device if you click the 3 little dots to the right of your username on the post you want to amend, you get a menu with an edit option. It is only active for a limited time after you've posted though. I think some posters who use the app say it doesn't exist on their devices.
