By 10pm, we will either have:
Labour in power, Tories in Opposition
or
Labour in power, LibDems in Opposition
(If you haven't been following the polls closely, several of the latest ones have the LibDems finishing within 1-5 seats of the Tories, and one even has them tied. Other polls are less optimistic.)
Tactical voting could push the LibDems over the top.
If they came second and formed the Opposition, they would get 6 questions at PMQs, guaranteed coverage in the media, 17 Opposition Days to set the agenda, first right to reply to the King's Speech and Budget, etc.
And the Tories would be sat on the back benches without a regular voice or a major media presence.
Tactical voting can still make it happen. So if you prefer the idea of the LibDems in Opposition instead of the Tories, here's what you need to do:
If the Tories are 1st or 2nd where you live, vote for the party most likely to beat them.
If the Tories are 3rd or lower, and one of the top 2 parties is the LibDems, vote Libdem.
If the Tories are 3rd or lower, and the LibDems aren't in contention either, vote for whoever you feel like.
This website will give you the latest tactical vote for each constituency, based on recent polls and local factors.

Whatever you decide to do, please vote if you can.
