Loads of us.. me included have not had our postal vote.
Too late for us to vote now.
I'm fuming.
We are all missing out on our chance to vote.. how can it be fair?
Yes some people don't vote.. but hundreds that do and applied for postal vote cannot.

I think you can get a postal vote pack from your council up until 5pm tomorrow then return to a polling station by 10pm.

Loads of time to sort if it is important to you. If you're on holiday then I agree with your comments..

Yep DH applied for proxy postal vote for family member who’s abroad. It hasn’t arrived so he notified Council, they’ve reissued it, he’s collecting it from Council offices today and will take it to the polling station tomorrow.

No use if you’re on holiday yourself, I grant you.

@ButtSurgery
I'm in a private hospital.
Luckily someone is collecting me tomorrow and taking me to vote.. then back to hospital.

Thankyou everyone I'm all sorted.
But do know a few who isn't sorted.

I do t understand how this is considered a fair vote either.

If the process has gone wrong meaning that some people have been prevented from casting their vote, then surely the whole thing has to start again?

What’s the point of democracy if the government can decide it doesn’t matter whether or not citizens get their right to vote?

There might be things in place that can rescue votes last minute, but presumably there’s a reason people applied for postal or proxy votes in the first place and that reason will mean they can’t piss about trying to fix a mess they didn’t create.

Brexit wasn't a fair vote

massive flooding in London and disrupted public transport meant many voters could not get to their polling stations.

The result still stood 😥

Be careful if you are registered for a postal vote you can't now vote in person. You will not be issued with a ballot.

You can go to your council and request the reissue of a postal pack and drop that off at a polling station as someone else mentioned.

I'm a poll clerk tomorrow.

Have you read the rules? You can't vote in person - you need to apply for an emergency proxy.

@firsttimekat
Yes that's what we have done
Called at the council office first.
