Rishi Sunak or Kier Starmer?

I’d pick kier starmer

Neither, we’re doomed.

cerebuswannabe · 31/05/2024 14:50

I agree neither. I don't know which one is better!

Bromptotoo · 31/05/2024 17:14

Assume you mean as PM :-)

Definitely Starmer. Always vote Labour except where tactical considerations say otherwise.

BloodyHellKenAgain · 31/05/2024 17:50

I'm awaiting the party manifestos before I decide who to vote for but I suspect neither KS or RS have the majority of their respective parties behind them which worries me.

Zonder · 31/05/2024 20:21

Starmer. He's far from perfect but he's not Sunak.

Purplecatshopaholic · 31/05/2024 20:24

Can’t stand either of them. It’s basically Tory, versus Tory-(not-very-)lite. I think Starmer is a given, but there seem to be very few Tory policies he doesn’t actually agree with…

Trezo · 02/06/2024 16:37

Both the same. Voting Greens or Independents. To hold KS to account in Parliament. Who know both KS and WS could lose their seat hope they do.Tories are toast.

Parker231 · 02/06/2024 16:38

Not aware any party has released a fully costed manifesto so how can anyone decide?

SoundedGoodWhenDrunk · 02/06/2024 16:51

Neither.

This. Doomed we are Wink

RubyWinehouse · 02/06/2024 17:14

Things are ruined now, but will be even worse if Starmer wins, not that I want Rishi either.

GlobeTrotter2000 · 03/06/2024 12:14

@Parker231

Thought you had left for Canada in 2019/2020?

I think Labour will win. Not because people think they will be better, but as a way of removing the conservatives.

Yes - we’re now living in Canada but still have a home and business in the UK so interested in the outcome

Maddy70 · 03/06/2024 12:39

Starmer. Not left enough for me ideologically. But a center government is exactly whats needed right now

CrispsnDips · 03/06/2024 15:38

If Labour gave details of their manifestos instead of continually slating the Tories, I would have more faith in them. They might win the Election ‘through the back door’ as so many are moving away from Tories, some might vote Reform for instance. Could result in a Labour victory or a hung Parliament…Very worrying 😕

I don't think any of the main parties have published their manifesto yet. I've had an invitation to register for a copy of LAbour's when it's published.

Have you seen any of the Tory communications on SM or on the news? It's all slagging off Labour.

Neither party has their manifesto out yet.

Predictions don't suggest labour slipping in the back door.

So basically pointless post!

Trezo · 04/06/2024 17:36

Greens or Independents get my vote

Boomer55 · 05/06/2024 18:23

Anyone but the Tories.
