So my house had electric fault burned can't live in it boarded up no insurance yes I know but how many can afford excess ..so tried to get 20k grant to fix rather than being homeless no ..only grant warm home really I may qualify for heating with a burned out house ..lol yet won't 9ads for that as 8bvuiud needs rewired plastered etc but if a landlord or mlo grants available to fix repair so they can rent out and earn money ..is this right ? Apparently it costs council more to have me as homeless plus's struggling to keep job as homeless responsibility for mortgage fire none wants to buy as mortgage lenders freaked out yet 20k to make it right .. system wired up .. oh I have 90 NIHE points but if I was a thug put out etc I would have more points and considered for home .. fundamentally wrong .. cold hungry have to go to work .. pretending to be normal ..maybe I should give up ?

You should probably retype that, put clear bullet points of the problem you're having and what you want advice on. Your post is impossible to read

I can’t make any sense of your post, but landlords are also legally required to have insurance?

TakeMe2Insanity · 28/10/2023 17:20

Landlords also need to have certification for any electrical work carried out.

Glad I am not the only one that can't get my head around what is being said. 😖

If you don't have insurance and then suffered a fire then there is not a lot you can do.
Are you saying you would get state help if you were a LL?
