Possible leader in waiting???

I'm watching BBC Breakfast and Wes Streeting is back on the show again.

He's there this time to talk about his book. He's 40 years old.

I'm just wondering if he's doing a tell all book now so that when the time comes, he is the next possible Labour leader. Am I reading too much into this? Would he make a good Labour leader?

I've always rated him and Rachel Reeves.

I think either of them would be good leaders of of them LP and help them move away from their usual type of leader.

No idea but, anyone who supports electoral reform gets my vote.

He was part of a private FB group that tried to purge GC Labour members iirc. Seems to have had a change of heart. Or just sniffed the wind?

I'd trust him as far as I could throw Boris Johnson. His support for PR won't survive a big Labour majority. Although to be fair he's not alone in that respect.
