While I think it's important to live within our means as that's just common sense; I find myself wondering if a family can't afford a cheese sandwich then what on earth are they going to eat.

My family were dairy farmers and milk, butter, cheese and yogurt were considered important part of a child's diet....what is this woman actually trying to promote.

Reform's Ann Widdecombe says people don't have a 'right' to cheap food

Ms Widdecombe, who was a Brexit Party MEP and now backs the Reform Party, made the comments on the BBC's Politics Live programme, in a debate about soaring food prices.

Anne Widdecombe? She's two slices AND the cheese and butter short of a sandwich herself, I wouldn't give anything she says the minutest amount of attention, she's completely irrelevant.

Always seems to be those people who clearly have excess calories lecturering those on cheese sandwiches. Clearly they have forgotten why children were given milk in schools and some got free dinners

What is this woman on telly for? She's a member of a series of parties that are practically dead after the local elections, and is profoundly nasty to boot. Click bait I suppose [baited]

What a strange creature.
