Anyone going to the rejoin march?

I was torn between going to this and going to Filia. I haven't got tickets to Filia so I think I'm going to go to the London march. I can't just sit around and watch the government continue to trash and pillage the country.

Very good turnout. Considering it was rescheduled at short notice. Yeah, media blackout mostly.

Compare and contrast with Farage never being off tv for years ....

The other nice thing about this, and all the other pro EU marches I've been to is that there's such a friendly kind atmosphere, with very light policing needed. Compare this with the angry, often violent Leave marches.
Anyway, I think there are more planned. Leave won everything, they got everything they wanted and we're all suffering as a consequence. What they don't get though, is me to shut up about the shitshow they've created.

A strange time in UK politics. Northern Ireland is doing better economically because - uniquely - they can trade freely with both the EU and Britain.
The business ppl there are quite happy. As one man put it ' the Scots would kill for this deal'.

Yet the DUP want to scrap it? Meanwhile both Tory and Labour ppl are terrified of the B word. That's why I loved Truss's resignation statement. She was upfront : I wanted chaos , as per Brexit and 'they' won't let me do it. Bastards.
