Bring on a General Election ASAP

Election Maps UK collated the YouGov data and found if a general election was held tomorrow Labour would gain 296 seats to have a majority of 346, with the Tories losing 304 seats, leaving them with just 61 MPs.

That would be nice - I know it won't happen, but still, nice to know.

The Tories will change leader first.

It won't happen but god does it put pressure on them.

I would be happy to see a hung Parliament and possibly a genuine Coalition - or a Lib/Lab pact. I hope the Tories are out of power for a long time.

I could not help but note seeing the Parade of ex PMs at the Corontation: Major, Blair and Brown covered a span of 20 years. Cameron, May, Johnson, Truss and Sunak have just managed seven years between them.

Don't worry, they have to have an election before January 2025 so I'm guessing it will be in October/November 2024.

It will be a good election to lose.
