I hate what the Tory party have done to this country over the past twelve years. But since Brexit it seems the shit show has gone full throttle.
I follow politics, but get lost down a rabbit hole when the economy takes a dive too. Can anyone offer a sensible, rational opinion of the current financial crisis? Im in the middle of remortgaging my property (great timing)! And my fixed term electricity contract comes to end in October! My bill goes from £25 -£125 a month. The only thing that isn't going up is my wages. I am a single mother and work full time and in a shit position but still count myself very lucky in the grand scheme of things.
What the fuck have Kwarteng and Truss done to us all? I thought we were fucked before but now it seems they've put the final nail in the coffin!
Can anyone more educated in economics than me explain what happens next... how long will this shit show last?
