Someone stamp on his fingers, please

MotherofPearl · 06/07/2022 12:24

I'm thoroughly enjoying the theatre of it. Starmer's comment about sinking ships leaving the rat actually made me laugh out loud!

Numbat2022 · 06/07/2022 12:26

It's interesting to see what's reported on the BBC live stream vs what's actually said. They miss out so much and it currently sounds like Johnson is 'winning' the debate, when that is far from reality!

Ilikewinter · 06/07/2022 12:26

Its justa debacle, the countries in so much shit right now yet PM questions is just a show of clowns. Its completely pointless.

I cant see Boris going anywhere

Stellaris22 · 06/07/2022 12:28

I want Boris to stay, the longer he refuses to give up the more damage he does to the Tories.

Many MPs are wearing a silver heart badge on their lapels, does anyone know what it symbolises? I've not seen it before.

I also enjoyed that! And the Z-list nodding dogs comment!

007DoubleOSeven · 06/07/2022 12:42

@Chevyimpala67 oh thank you, I've no idea how this passed me by!

Starmer has been getting better and better.

I think it helps that Johnson has less and less to write a pantomime script about.

Only so many times you can write sentences including "sorry and getting the job done".

PerkingFaintly · 06/07/2022 12:46

Blimey, Matt Hancock's body language. He's really feeling this.

Yeh yeh, media won't cover fully, and then posters will come on MN saying, "I don't hear much from Starmer, he obviously doesn't have anything to say." Hmm

Ilikewinter · 06/07/2022 12:52

Oh wow, intersting listening to Javids resignation statement and Boris was out of there like a bolt of lightning, he must be absolutely fuming

MotherofPearl · 06/07/2022 12:55

I'm no Tory but I must say I found Javid's statement pretty powerful. It seemed to have a sobering effect on the whole House.

Certainly did.

And he was spot on

PolkaDotMankini · 06/07/2022 13:01

I don't find it hilarious. I find it appalling that we have this utter idiot as PM and he is still there.

He is.
Thats also why he’s managed to wriggle his up there and stay for so long.

demotedreally · 06/07/2022 13:12

How do we watch this on catch up?

🤣🤣I thought this was only me. I want the tortes to win the next election so they HAVE to deal with longer term outcomes of brexit and all the economic shit they have created.
if another party or coalition get in the Tories will blame the the fallout on the new government and party fr years to come and the press will ensure that it sticks like mud.
better the Tories win one more election and dig their own grave once and for all.

but hey, that’s probably just me. 🤷🏼‍♀️

The sheer amount of suffering they would cause means I cannot wish for that

The bbc showing it’s ‘ impartiality” again what a surprise. Must try and remember this one for the next time the license is discussed 😂

Anytime I have watched pmq I’m always laughing at the whole thing. Have to try and remember it’s supposed to be real and not satire.
