Nadine Dorries and her toe curling interviews - was she drunk? They were hard to watch weren't they? Sorry I'm rubbish at links but her interviews with C4 and Sky and others yesterday are easy to find.

The interviews were bizarre. It sure if she was drunk but she came across as a petulant teenager. Completely embarrassing for her mad her colleagues

I thought it was the worst interview I'd ever seen!

I think she is finally realising she's hitched herself to someone who is going to come crashing down in the next few months, and doesn't know how to perform the necessary and embarrassing u-turn.

She's a terrible liar, which is weird because most of what comes out of her mouth is pure bullshit.

I think she might just be very very stupid. But as Johnson has got rid of most of the intelligent wing of the Tory party, we can look forward to a lot more of the same.

It was pretty awful. I don't think she should be in any kind of position of power!

It was bad. She might just have been exhausted. There’s a limited number of people prepared to stick up for him and they have been working her pretty hard.

I thought she seemed pissed tho. But could just be genuinely tired and emotional. It was bad tho.

Is there anyone here from mid-Bedfordshire? What's she like as a constituency MP? She's represented you since 2005, so has been re-elected several times. Is that because it's the kind of area where a plank of wood with a blue rosette would get elected, or does she actually have a loyal local following?

It's a total mystery to me how she got re-elected after going on I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! in 2012 without bothering to tell the Chief Whip. She had the Conservative whip suspended for months over that, but come the 2015 election, back she comes again.

Baffling. Most of us worry about not being up to our jobs and someone like Dorries, whose IQ appears to be a near match to her shoe size, flourishes like the green bay tree.

I really doubt anyone that votes for Mad Nad would care enough about politics to be on this board, so I doubt your question will get answered. Would love to know too though
