who do you think will win the US election 2020?

I keep thinking Trump will lose but he is the incumbent and Biden never really excels and keeps looking senile
so I am flip flopping and want to know your opinions

I don’t think Trump is out of the woods yet either , he’s on a steroid high at the moment which will stop him getting some of the symptoms linked to an immune response, however the virus will still be there.

Hermain Cain was undergoing cancer treatment though afaik.
It's not an absolute, but it is an additional risk factor

If the polls mean anything, and if he doesn’t hav a senior moment in the remaining debates (assuming they happen), Biden will win the popular vote by a big margin. Whether that will translate into victory in the electoral college is a different matter, of course, as we found out four years ago.

No President has done more for the economy than Trump and to look after decent, Western values. Just like Boris, he's bravely fought the effects of a virulent, imported disease and he's beaten it.
He deserves his recuperation period away from the scrutiny of intrusive left wing press. He will be back when he's ready.
The day after he left hospital people expect him to appear on national TV in an important debate without his strength and without being to consult with his advisors, who are also bravely fighting God's plague. The righteous will still be standing when this all ends.

I think Trump will win. Biden seems nice enough but he's too old. And comes over as a bit frail and feeble. I don't know why they didn't go for somebody younger.

I hope Biden wins, the atmosphere is so toxic at the moment and Trump is so unpredictable.

The vice-presidential debate was refreshing, simply because it was a fairly normal political debate. Yes, the candidates argued, avoided answering certain questions and Pence interrupted sometimes, but it was civil. The first presidential debate was a shitshow, I don’t know how anyone could watch that and not be concerned about Trump.

KenDodd interesting article, just had a quick skim but will read properly later. Trump losing & not accepting it is a scary prospect, he doesn’t have to be out of the WH until January & could do anything in that time. It’s not beyond the realms of imagination that he will call on his faithful (heavily armed) followers to stop the second term being ‘stolen’ from him- the man has no scruples & would think nothing of staying in power by force. It’s going to be an interesting time & im very glad I don’t live there

I'm on a wind up to see what I could get away with Nancy. He's vermin in human form, that people vote for him in their millions tells you all you need to know for what passes as modern 'culture' and 'values' in America. The population of the country really does need tipping about 40 miles deep in either ocean and start the nation all over again. As an experiment in a melting pot of people, it has gone badly, badly wrong.

I'm interested in this and my own opinion is that Trump will win. My knowledge of American politics is scant to be fair , but I can't see a Republican ever voting for Biden and there will be lots of shy Trump supporters around.
The choice of candidates is awful though. Biden won't be rushing to do deals with the UK either so it could affect the UK much more if Biden wins , but not in a good way.
