Just something for the uneducated to repeat on Facebook. Some Americans hate Gates because they think he is anti-American - disparaging gun ownership; giving medical help for free; not being ashamed of being clever.

Sure, I can explain.

Because they're ignorant, ill-informed, gullible, and get their information from insane websites.

They believe that Hillary Clinton is involved in a ritual that eats babies.

Most people don't.

Gates did a Ted talk maybe 5 or even 10 years ago (don't quote me on the time frame) about a global pandemic happening.

He also has said the world is overpopulated (I'm paraphrasing so not the exact quote).

So now the conspiracy theorists have decided he caused this, he is going to put a chip in everyone (the jab), and whatever else they are believing. It's a shame that there are so many conspiracy theories.

Because they aren't very good at thinking.

Unfortunately it seems like a thing in politics these days. Spread vicious rumours on social media about people whose politics you disagree with. It doesn't matter how outlandish the gossip is, someone will believe it and pass it on. It soon becomes considered fact, despite any lack of evidence.

He's hated for being humanitarian, socially left leaning, independent of government control. So he's loathed by the far right.

Going out on a limb here, but maybe they're a bit stupid.

Because there are a lot of dumb, gullible people with bad news sources.

Many also believe that Hillary Clinton is part of a cult that drinks children's blood.
