I'm still so torn. In a single sentence can you say who you are voting for and why?

OP posts:
OublietteBravo · 11/12/2019 18:25

Labour. Because my seat is marginal and I will not risk the Tories winning it.

larrygrylls · 11/12/2019 18:26

Tories,

No interest in living in a socialist ‘nirvana’ and I am Jewish.

Ffsnosexallowed · 11/12/2019 18:29

SNP, because Scotland needs a strong voice in the UK and because nicola.

Theneverendingcleaningcycle · 11/12/2019 18:30

Labour
Because I care about health care and our schools. I don't trust the Tories do at all.

Labour.
Because I loathe the Conservatives.
I am in a very labour safe area though so happy for my brilliant MP!

Cyberworrier · 11/12/2019 18:34

Labour- to get the Tories out (tactical vote), because I work in a school and care about society, and because I have family in NI who need to not be fucked over (and in Scotland).

otterturk · 11/12/2019 18:35

Tory.

Because I disagree with the hard left and think he's the best of a bad bunch.

BadnessInTheFolds · 11/12/2019 18:37

Undecided, because they're all fucking awful.

Probably (maybe) Green or Labour because I like my local candidates

KnitFastDieWarm · 11/12/2019 18:37

Labour.
Because, while I have to hold my nose over the hideous issues with antisemitism, and frankly wouldn’t trust ANY of our potential ‘leaders’ to run a bath, never mind a country, a) I broadly agree with Labour policies and b) I think the current Tory cabinet is made up of entitled, selfish, lying arseholes and I don’t want them to be in charge for another five years (and especially not in charge of the NHS)

MolyHolyGuacamole · 11/12/2019 18:37

Labour because I care about education and the NHS

Milkandcreaminmine · 11/12/2019 18:38

Labour! NHS worker in a hospital and have no faith in the tories after the last five years. I would be happy if Green got in too, and looks likely as I'm in Bristol.

MonstranceClock · 11/12/2019 18:39

Can’t vote as I’m not a citizen, but I would vote labour. And I’m Jewish!

doublebarrellednurse · 11/12/2019 18:40

Labour as the only chance to keep the Tory out and I'm not thrilled about it.

FarmerFrump · 11/12/2019 18:40

Labour. Bad for me personally but good for the country.

FAQs · 11/12/2019 18:41

This has been hard, I’ve switched between Labour and Conservatives many times, and my daughter would benefit from no tuition fees. Still on the fence but leaning to Conservatives.

Current Answer - Conservatives to protect the 1000s of job losses which will be a result of a higher minimum wage + corporation tax for the 250+ independent small high street businesses I assist.

Iwouldbecomplex · 11/12/2019 18:44

Lib Dem for the first time ever. I'm pro remain and in my area thats the best bet tactics voting wise

SusannahD · 11/12/2019 18:47

Labour, because I’m not a millionaire, Tories only care about the rich, not your average working people.

WineGummyBear · 11/12/2019 18:48

Labour.

A hung parliament is our best chance of getting rid of both Johnson and Corbyn.

PrettyShiningPeople · 11/12/2019 18:49

I agonise over the decision, then remember that I live in a safe Labour seat so it’s a waste of time anyway #disillusioned.

Why on earth people voted against introducing PR is beyond me. It epitomises the idea that many people don’t really understand what they’re voting for more so than the Brexit vote did.

LoonyLunaLoo · 11/12/2019 18:49

Labour because I see first hand in my job the effects of the cuts on education and healthcare. Also our local conservative MP has done nothing for his constituency mainly because he’s never in it.

KnitFastDieWarm · 11/12/2019 18:50

A hung parliament is our best chance of getting rid of both Johnson and Corbyn.

Yeah, this is pretty much my best case scenario here

Hellohah · 11/12/2019 18:50

Tory. Because Brexit needs to be over.

Chickenwing · 11/12/2019 18:50

SNP. For Scottish Independence.
