Hard choices...as in life in general. As a mum, a single mother, with a child with additional needs and a medical diagnosis, a former academic, a professional working person still, I have been able to see into many companies and organizations. Everyone is different, but what i have seen is that the Conservative Party does not CARE about single mothers, the poor, homeless, old people, the quality of our education system, or to provide enough money to run our hospitals in a way that treats our conditions and us, with dignity. It just cares, as its names suggests, about keeping the present system with all its divisions intact.
I know that the Lib Dems will just tinker at the edges of the system.
I have observed the Labour Party over time and know that some are nervous about Corbyn. What I know about him is that he is honest, caring and steadfast: Labour will improve our health system, and bring an end to the current exclusion of the vast majority of children and teenagers who need it from psychological support; they will end the lack of Occupational Therapy for really deserving children; they will bring an end to the UK having the largest class sizes among developed European countries. They will put a stop to the homeless being treated worse than dogs (how low have we got when the Evening Standard in London has to campaign like mad to fundraise for the homeless - there is not even one decent centre for women who are homeless in our capital city!); to the nightmare of high parking charges at hospitals (and fines!) and, no doubt, waiting on trolleys there. It will bring an end to the madness of a myriad rail companies running our railways piecemeal, causing crashes, over-charging and dirty, overcrowded trains!
If, apart from all of this, you think it is also fair for older women to be recompensed for having their pension ages suddenly hiked with a very tardy warning, and no chance to make provision for it, you could give them a chance. Sure the rich and powerful will spew venom on them, trying to scare people, but even they, eventually, I think will realise a Labour government is not a bad thing when people's incomes go up with a more stable economy (Johnson's hard Brexit will damage it tremendously, not to mention lead to the buying up of the NHS by American companies) enabling voters, individuals to go out and buy more of the products that they manufacture.
For any who are undecided, I think there is a clear choice: the Green Party cannot run the country (and their knowledge is very limited, when you go outside the environment); the Lib Dems are the tinkering at the edges party - why not give Labour a chance? When our democracy is in tatters (Johnson banning the recent Extinction Rebellion action, now threatening to act against Channel 4, and to undermine our age-old institutions - see Gina Miller's piece in the papers), the economy on its knees, the people of these isles treated like nothings (see Johnson's reported comments that working men are worthless, in 1995), things could not get worse!
