After watching Panorama about antisemitism last night, I think the Labour party response is shameful

The testimony of the young people several of whom had resigned from their jobs after being bullied by Jeremy Corben's allies in the Labour party was convincing and disturbing. All credit to them for their courage. The Labour party response today, after failing to get the programme banned from broadcast, is to say those who testified were anti- Corben, had axes to grind etc . Absolutely shameful.

Yes the response was shameful.

I felt that labelling the partipants as being disaffected was pretty low of the Labour party spokespersons. It just served to show that the current Labour party can't handle any critiscm of its actions.

A deeply dishonest programme, repeating the same old lies about the manufactured Labour antisemitism "crisis".

Lies about Ken Livingstone, lies about Jackie Walker, lies about Raed Salah. Lies about practically everything.
#Panorama's hatchet job featured a veritable who's who of the right-wing, anti-Corbyn, anti-Palestinian cadres that've driven this fake crisis all along.

Yet none of these affiliations were disclosed in the programme. Some of these "brave whistle blowers" were not even named!

Guessing trezo is a corbynite then! I'm a member and it made me feel deeply ashamed of how staff and members were treated. I'd like more evidence but it does feel very likely to be true. They may be disaffected but that doesn't mean they are lying. I believe Corbyn leadership has encouraged antisemitism and racists to join the Labour Party. He is a hard line old fashioned Marxist. Anti racist they are not. Class struggle all the way

Believe the MSM lies and smears propaganda These billionaire newspaper owners hide their wealth in tax havens that's why they don't want a socialist government. Corbyn is not an anti Semite he is anti capitalism. Where billions in tax cuts are given to already wealthy and poor left to starve public service cuts austerity.

trezo receiving awards for one thing doesn't mean he's perfect in all ways. I am aware that he has declared himself anti racist but antisemitism is a specific type of racism that many many left wing people still perpetrate ( sadly). Jewish people are fair game it seems. Peace awards for disarmament for example aren't a sign that he's anti racist necessarily and I would like the leader of my party to show greater leadership and integrity.

Jenny Formby has and is dealing admirably with the backlog that occurred under McNicholl And put in place measures to speed up procedure. Now there is barely any anti semitism and thats do to Corbyn and his team.

And did you know that there is more antisemitism in the Tory party and islamaphobia which they haven't dealt with yet. We have a bias media against Labour not everyone can see that though. Just believe the lies they are fed.

nobelgiraffe exactly! Even if Corbyn himself is not an antisemite, his leadership is allowing a culture and atmosphere to persist which allows antisemitism and he needs to be much much tougher. I can read planted opinion articles about what a nice chap Trump is (and probably Hitler or Franco's finer side) but Corbyn is allowing systemic racism ( antisemitism is racism) to exist within ten Labour Party. I do blame the Momentum people just as I blamed Militant in the 80s. I thought we had driven this out but a throw back leader has allowed this to all resurface. I'm considering my options as to my political alliance now. The LPHQ response to the Panorma programme ( ie to get it removed from iplayer) does not help

I can give you a massive list of scientists who don’t believe in evolution. That doesn’t mean they’re right. Look at how many people don’t believe we landed on the moon.

Peace prizes and lists of people who like Corbyn and what about the Tories are all shit responses to the current crisis in Labour.

I think it was appalling. And Trezo's trumpeting about Corbyn signing a few useless EDMs (all Corbyn ever did was sign useless EDMs, nearly 20k of them) and 2 so-called prizes, one given by 10 men in a room in Islington and the other named after an IRA member, plus linking to irrelevant anti-Semites as if they were some kind of defence, is just pathetic. I believe Corbyn's words and behaviour show him to be racist. It is sickening.

I agree. Labour's attitude to this is shocking. A friend of Luciana Berger was saying she was having dinner with her and Luciana showed her her phone, which revealed constant harassment of the vilest anti Semitic kind.

Oh trezo I'm sure Corbyn is very proud of you because people in the Labour Party would never want to have money or evade taxes.people join groups for many reasons. The Labour elite have money 'champagne socialists'.they are racist and sexist and all kinds of prejudice exists across the whole of all parties
