Just heard an anti-Trump person on Radio 4 explain her opposition to Trump's visit

"We don't want someone like him in a tolerant place like London"

She means that she doesn't want such an intolerant person in such a wonderfully diverse city.

It's OK to be intolerant of people who do nothing but spout hate.

Not if you are claiming to be tolerant, her intolerance means she doesn't want people like her in London

Following the incidents of assault recently, by anti Farage and anti Trump demonstrators, I had to laugh at the irony of this statement:
“A woman … punctured the mini Trump baby replica with a sharp object,” said a spokesman for the group. “It’s not surprising that the far right would want to meet freedom of expression with violence.”
