Just that really, shows he doesn't do his research if he did he would realise that he is one of the millions they've tried to take disabilities payments from. Not to mention limit his job opportunities even further then they already were. Tempted to write back stating the above and then some, but I won't as I'm above that.

You're above writing to a politician to tell them you disagree with their policies?
Why?

Sakura7 · 29/03/2019 13:22

You absolutely should write back, why on earth wouldn't you?

WobblyLondoner · 29/03/2019 13:23

Who is Jrm???

Mamabearx4 · 29/03/2019 13:28

Because
A) it was addressed to my son and therefore I would proberly be ignored
B) it would likely be a rant rather then a well written letter

So what, politicians need to hear rants. Don't be lazy, wrote back. Apathy is what they rely on. Luckily 1 million people got off their assets to make their voices heard last week. You do the same with your letter

Sakura7 · 29/03/2019 13:57

You're over thinking this OP. If his policies are having a negative impact on your family, you have every right to tell him so. It doesn't have to be a rant, you can put forward your point of view in a perfectly civil way.

WhiskersOnCats · 29/03/2019 14:01

Get your son to write back to him - saying - thanks for the cynical birthday wishes, but as a result of you cutting my disability support, there is not a snowballs chance in hell of me ever voting for you.
Regards......

ChilliMum · 29/03/2019 14:06

Don't write, tweet a response, they supposedly work for us Hmm. He should be held to account.

Mamabearx4 · 29/03/2019 14:29

I'm currently formulating a response, not just on my son's behalf for the thousands in a similar position. To long for Twitter but will send it via social media.

Definitely post it on social media for all to see.

Flowers for you and your son, and Happy 18th Birthday Cake

SusanWalker · 29/03/2019 14:35

How did he get your son's address? If you have no idea how I'd be looking at asking where he got your son's data from and putting in a complaint.

JudgeRindersMinder · 29/03/2019 14:37

@Susan Walker, if someone is on the voters roll then that information is publicly available. Politicians always send shite on 18th birthdays as that’s the voting age, they want to be seen in a good light

RomanyQueen1 · 29/03/2019 14:39
