We assumed we were registered, we received the recent local information but have had nothing for the GE - is it just us? I emailed a few weeks ago but heard nothing.

So long as you have registered to vote then you don't need a poll card or ID just go along to the polling station.
To register to vote you have to more than complete the who is in your home form most councils send out yearly.

Nothing here either and I had a polling card for the locals Confused. I assume I'm still registered.

Ah good, thank you!

I'm wondering if they've just not had time to get them all printed, must be a nightmare.

If you were registered for local elections and you haven't moved or anything then you should still be registered. I lost my card for the locals and had no problem voting.
