Double bubble today with Stoke & Copeland, who do you think will win?

I can see Labour narrowly holding onto Stoke from UKIP. Surely the end of UKIP if they don't get elected in a ward that voted overwhelmingly for Brexit?

Copeland though will be interesting, could be the first, by election gain, for a ruling party, since 1982. Think the Conservatives will just edge it.

Exciting times Smile

Labour, Stoke, with truly abysmal turnout.

Conservatives , Copeland.

DaffodilsAndCrocus · 23/02/2017 22:47

And furthermore Kippers will blame it on postal voting!

AlwaysTheWinner · 23/02/2017 22:48

I think (hope!) Labour will hold Stoke, but lose Copeland to the Tories.
Turnout will be very low though.

Surely the end of Labour if they don't hold seats in opposition?

Corbyn is an utter fucking unelectable disaster, Michael Foot mk2. Never mind UKIP, Brexit is happening.

Unbelievable spinning that UKIP should beat Labour but Labour can't even hold onto a losing position.

Stoke

Lab 7853
UKIP 5233
Tory 5154
Lib Dem 2083

Tories could have won it, but left it for Nutterall.

Nuttall useless.

Labour terrible.

Dire result for Labour,

Corbyn asked

“Have you at any point this morning looked in the mirror and asked yourself, could the problem actually be me?”

Corbyn’s reply: “No. Thank you for your question.”

He is letting Labour down, he is letting Labour voters down, and he is letting Britain down.
