More on Trump

It is a Trump world and as the Modi saying goes

“Aab Ki Baar Trump Sarkar”

and as the Stump for Trump Sisters say

"Get on the Trump Train or get the hell out of the way"

Rock'n'roll

'Different rules for them?'

Of course. Trump is President.

OP posts:
Kaija · 20/12/2016 20:28

I mean I'll add it to the list of bizarre unfounded accusations, but if you have a reason do let me know.

claig · 20/12/2016 20:28

'Why are you calling me a race baiter?'

Because of your behaviour in bringing up race and fascism and "white supremacism" in previous threads in order to ruin those threads

OP posts:
claig · 20/12/2016 20:29

'but if you have a reason do let me know'

You got the reason above

OP posts:
Missswatch · 20/12/2016 20:30

It's like we are being called racist

OhYouBadBadKitten · 20/12/2016 20:30

But those were significant aspects to the election. It would have been really odd to ignore them.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 20/12/2016 20:31

missswatch, not it's not. Some of Trumps supporters are racist. That doesn't mean all are.

Kaija · 20/12/2016 20:33

It would be a strange discussion of Trump that did not include at some point the vocal and enthusiastic support of his white supremacist and racist followers, Richard Spencer, the KKK, the American Nazi Party, and numerous self declared "deplorables" on Twitter.

However nobody has mentioned it on this thread except you, so if it's ruining the thread to bring it up you've only got yourself to blame.

claig · 20/12/2016 20:33

OhYou, you have brought them up and we have all answered them. Kaija is different and she knows it. She spoils threads deliberately, and contributes very little apart from attacking Trumpers and posters she dislikes but I would rather she spoiled mine than anyone else's

OP posts:
Kaija · 20/12/2016 20:34

"It's like we are being called racist"

But nobody has.

claig · 20/12/2016 20:35

' if it's ruining the thread to bring it up you've only got yourself to blame.'

It is already ruined, so bringing that up is only telling the truth and doesn't add to it

OP posts:
Missswatch · 20/12/2016 20:35

Let's not forget Clinton's KKK links. Ah but that's ok i guess

Kaija · 20/12/2016 20:37

". She spoils threads deliberately,"

No, I just really dislike seeing lies about very important issues repeated over and over again on these boards. That is my only motivation. If you want to produce uninterrupted puff about Trump making America great again you can write a book.

Kaija · 20/12/2016 20:38

Let's not forget Clinton's KKK link

Oh purlease...

Missswatch · 20/12/2016 20:40

See? I knew it's a different story when the left do it

claig · 20/12/2016 20:40

'No, I just really dislike seeing lies about very important issues repeated over and over again on these boards. '

Then don't reread your own posts

'That is my only motivation.'

Are there no other threads you could indulge your "motivation" on?

' If you want to produce uninterrupted puff about Trump making America great again you can write a book.'

Puff doesn't sell. These threads contain lots of predictions and information on what is happening and what is likely to happen as well as pages of snide comments, but "it is wot it is"

OP posts:
claig · 20/12/2016 20:42

'Puff doesn't sell.'

Having said that, I think that Tony Blair's biography, The Journeyman, did sell, at least among eager young Blairites

usuallydormant love your tweet you linked!

*In Russia, the corporate profit tax rate is 20 % and in taxation of personal income residents of Russia enjoy a record low 13% flat tax rate for all income brackets.

Doesn't sound like communism to me, sounds like something Trump would like*

Are you having a larf?! The average monthly income in Russia is $700. Purchasing property is out of the reach of the majority of Russians. 20million survive below the poverty threshold in Russia and wages shrink year on year. Yet that's what Trump wants?

Doesn't surprise me as long as 'his' elites prosper.

Might I enquire how you view the Vice President-Elect, claig?

Good point cozie. Pence is a snake. A nasty man driven by his religion, a disgusting man.

Roussette · 20/12/2016 20:46

Sorry, computer not working. That Russia comment that was meant to be highlighted was claigs

claig · 20/12/2016 20:49

'Are you having a larf?'

I mentioned the tax rates not the average wage. Yes Trump wants an even lower corporate tax rate and not as low a perosnal tax rate and not a flat tax rate, but Trump's rates will be similarly competitive worldwide and will allow the people to keep as much of their earnings as possible which is a right wing capitalist thing in general rather than socialist

So, getting back on track, how is Trump detachment from his business interests going?
Any chance of a blind trust?

And poor Rexnord Corporation workers. They didn't get the Trump package and their jobs are moving to Mexico.

I wonder if Trump will convince Slim to invest in the US.

claig · 20/12/2016 20:56

'how is Trump detachment from his business interests going?'

Don't know, haven't followed it, don't think it is important in teh big scheme of things - defeating Isis, bringing jobs back, slashing taxes, scrapping Obaacare, sorting out education, scrapping free trade deals etc

"Trump and Mexico's richest man meet for 'lovely dinner' at Mar-a-Lago resort

The two billionaires, who have clashed in the past, appeared to set aside their differences – although the contents of their discussion were not disclosed"

www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/dec/19/carlos-slim-donald-trump-dinner-meeting-mexico

Now Trump holds all the cards, I think Slim will play ball with whatever Trump wants

OP posts:
claig · 20/12/2016 20:58

Trump has got all the Trump cards. The entire world's elite are scared. No one will cross Trump for long.

This was worrying news for Trump fans last month

"Blair to be 'hired' by Trump? Former PM spotted dining with President-elect's son-in-law

TONY Blair has been spotted dining with Donald Trump's son-in-law – sparking rumours the former Prime Minister could be pushing for a job with the President-elect."

www.express.co.uk/news/uk/733222/Tony-Blair-Donald-Trump-hired-dining-president-elect-Jared-Kushner-Sam-Zell

I hope Trump doesn't hire the spinner unless it is to clean his shoes.

OP posts:
claig · 20/12/2016 21:02

'I hope Trump doesn't hire the spinner unless it is to clean his shoes.'

And then Trump won't pay him unless they are perfect. Trump notoriously doesn't pay if he isn't happy with the level of service.
