More on Trump

It is a Trump world and as the Modi saying goes

“Aab Ki Baar Trump Sarkar”

and as the Stump for Trump Sisters say

"Get on the Trump Train or get the hell out of the way"

Rock'n'roll

'But he's definitely pressuring them to report the news to his liking. '

Not at all. Trump likes "fair trade" not "free trade" and he likes "fair reporting" not "lies" and he called the mainstream media "a room full of liars" and Trump knows because he was in the thick of it.

So if they are lying and fabricating, he will look into what political benefits some of them may be getting because as he said in his legendary speech, the media are no longer independent and are just another "political lobby" and the reason that is important is because they are sometimes owned by non US interests and may be working against the interests of the United States and its 45th President. Donald J Trump.

We have seen how biased our BBC is against Trump, but if foreign owned US media is like that, then that is not presenting an accurate picture to the American people and that is not good.

'And you seem proud of it. Why? '

Because I don't like liars

'Doesn't that amount to an attempt at censorship?'

Stopping lies and media monoplies that spread misinformation and lies is not censorship, it is making sure that coverage is fair.

Trump said the mainstream media were "a room full of liars" and that is not good.

🎶 On the eigth day of Trumpmas The Donald gave to me, eight years of winning, seven spicy shitposts, six networks lying, FIIIIIIIVE CENTIPEDES, four Pence timelines, three red pills, two Turtle Jeb!s, and a Pepe in a Trump Tweet 🎶

claig · 20/12/2016 19:37

'Well - 'a heartbeat away' and all that. You may end up with him. I'd do a little more familiarisation if I were you. After all, it's a two-person ticket.'

That is a good point cozie. There is a time limit to fnding out what is going on and with the BBC and Guardian, it is not easy to get accurate information. I am expecting Trump to deliver a revolution, if Pence gets in I expect it will George Bush or something all over again, Establishment etc and the whole world be will be back to Blair etc, and I will lose interest. I'm on the Trump Train with the Stump for Trump Sisters. They only like Trump and so do I.

"It proves that the losing lipstick liberals are snowflakes"

What a bizarre world.

Kaija · 20/12/2016 19:45

"This is media hype. There have always been racists and they didn't need their views to be validated in order to be racist. There were filmed racist incidents on tubes and trams before Brexit as well."

But so many more now. You see, like you they feel liberated by what they see - and what you have described - as a victory over political correctness. Now we know they wanted to say that they felt they couldn't before. What is it you are hoping to be able to say?

claig · 20/12/2016 19:48

'What is it you are hoping to be able to say?'

Nothing . Nada, I don't know what that is in Latvian.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 20/12/2016 19:49

Thanks Bertrand. Interesting to know.

Kaija · 20/12/2016 20:01

"Nothing . Nada, I don't know what that is in Latvian"

It's ok, I'm quite fluent in English now.

You are being coy I think. You have said you are very excited about being liberated from liberal shackles so that you can practise free speech at last. So you must have something in mind. Perhaps something to go with all those things you are going to do when you are free from the shackles of EU regulations.

claig · 20/12/2016 20:06

'It's ok, I'm quite fluent in English now.'

Thank God for that, because I don't know a word of Latvian

'You are being coy I think.

You are being patronising, I know.

'You have said you are very excited about being liberated from liberal shackles so that you can practise free speech at last.'

No I haven't, can you quote that, maybe the English lessons need brushing up a bit

'Perhaps something to go with all those things you are going to do when you are free from the shackles of EU regulations.'

Well any excuse for another bottle, yes

"No I haven't, can you quote that, maybe the English lessons need brushing up a bit"

It's all over these threads.

Lweji · 20/12/2016 20:11

Thanks for the Guardian article on FGM. Very interesting.

claig · 20/12/2016 20:13

'It's all over these threads.'

Well then you'll have no problem quoting it them, with your English skills and all unless you use a translation package or something

OP posts:
Kaija · 20/12/2016 20:13

And I apologise if you feel patronised. I realise now that the alt-right/Trumpers are very sensitive about this sort of thing, which I suppose is why so many of your number tend to lash out and seek out videos of people crying etc. One should try to keep things civilised.

Kaija · 20/12/2016 20:16

Ah no, I'm not going looking for quotes from all your posts about free speech - I learned earlier today from you Trumpers that in this situation the onus is on you to prove they don't exist.

claig · 20/12/2016 20:16

'One should try to keep things civilised.'

That would be nice, but it would mean you would have to ruin someone else's thread and I wouldn't wish that on anyone, so you're welcome to try on here

OP posts:
Kaija · 20/12/2016 20:18

Thank you that's very gracious. Important to have a balance wouldn't you say? You wouldn't want everyone agreeing with you.

claig · 20/12/2016 20:18

'Ah no, I'm not going looking for quotes from all your posts about free speech - I learned earlier today from you Trumpers that in this situation the onus is on you to prove they don't exist.'

Oh how convenient!

OP posts:

'Important to have a balance wouldn't you say? '

Very important, that's why I worry for you

'You wouldn't want everyone agreeing with you.'

Absolutely not or there would be no discussion, a bit like with you

OP posts:
Kaija · 20/12/2016 20:22

It is convenient I must say. These alt-righters know how to make life easy for themselves. If I've understood the technique correctly, you have to say now what you actually said about free speech and how it's different from what I said you said.^^ Or else what I said you said stands. Is that right?

claig · 20/12/2016 20:23

' Is that right?'

No. Try again

Lweji · 20/12/2016 20:24

Oh how convenient!

I'm glad at least one of you recognises it. Could you explain the concept to Misss? She might get it if you explain it.

Kaija · 20/12/2016 20:25

"'Important to have a balance wouldn't you say? '

Very important, that's why I worry for you"

As a Blairite communist I'm probably the most politically balanced person you know.

Kaija · 20/12/2016 20:26

"' Is that right?'

No. Try again"

Hmm. Well that's how the Trumpers were doing it. Different rules for them?

claig · 20/12/2016 20:26

'As a Blairite communist I'm probably the most politically balanced person you know.'

Not fro the evidence of your posts unless being clueless and a race baiter means "balanced" in Latvian

OP posts:
Kaija · 20/12/2016 20:27

Why are you calling me a race baiter?
