More on Trump

It is a Trump world and as the Modi saying goes

“Aab Ki Baar Trump Sarkar”

and as the Stump for Trump Sisters say

"Get on the Trump Train or get the hell out of the way"

Rock'n'roll

It proves that the losing lipstick liberals are snowflakes

DeepanKrispanEven · 20/12/2016 18:07

You are missing what has happened.

No, claig, you are closing your eyes to the significant consequence I referred to, namely the documented rise in incidents of racist persecution following both Brexit and the US election. Racists are coming out of the woodwork because they perceive that their attitudes are validated by those results. It's no coincidence that the most rabid supporters of Brexit included the likes of Britain First and the knuckle-draggers of the EDL.

claig · 20/12/2016 18:11

'I referred to, namely the documented rise in incidents of racist persecution following both Brexit and the US election.'

Media lies, trying to stop Brexit and Trump. Same game.

'It's no coincidence that the most rabid supporters of Brexit included the likes of Britain First and the knuckle-draggers of the EDL.'

Yes, but they are tiny groups. George Galloway and lots of left wingers supported Brexit too. All types of people supported Brexit.

Duncan Smith? The person who totally embarrassed himself with that article on the Supreme Court case that demonstrated that, not only did he have no idea what he was talking about, but he is too stupid and too lazy to check absolutely basic facts?

A couple of great takedowns:

'Racists are coming out of the woodwork '

This is media hype. There have always been racists and they didn't need their views to be validated in order to be racist. There were filmed racist incidents on tubes and trams before Brexit as well.

DeepanKrispanEven · 20/12/2016 18:15

Oh, claig, you really have to stop trying to avoid inconvenient facts by airily claiming they are media lies, and try a bit harder. The evidence of the rise in racist incidents post Brexit is fully documented.

claig · 20/12/2016 18:26

'The evidence of the rise in racist incidents post Brexit is fully documented.'

Have you got a link to the statistics? There has been an increase in reports, such as the one that Channel 4 News gave lots of time to where a woman was shouted at and racially abused at a traffic light. Brexit has nothing to do with colour, because it was immigration from the EU. Saying that racist abuse is due to Brexit is difficult to prove.

But you either believe it is due to Brexit or you don't. There are documented fake reports in the US about Trump supporters being racist etc.

Politics is a dirty game and the elite media was anti Trump and disgracefully even our own publicly funded BBC with our best and brightest Oxbridge PPEs were giving lots of airtime to "white supremacism" and the next President of the United States. It was disgraceful but that is politics and that is the elite when they are panicked.

Trump said the media were the most disgraceful, dishonest people he had ever seen, and he has seen a lot because he knows politicians.

Spin is a technique used for political purposes to influence the public, such as wehn they tried to scare us over world war in Europe if we voted for Brexit, or that Brexit and racism and bigots all go hand in hand.

There are many, any more. American media is at least better than ours.

If you rely on the Oxbridge graduates at the Guardian and the BBC, then don't expect any investigation into fake reports here.

But the same type of hype happens in both countries in the media and it is often done for political purposes.

I sure hope Trump puts CNN in it's place. They are the worst

claig · 20/12/2016 18:50

'I sure hope Trump puts CNN in it's place. They are the worst'

Absolutely, Missswatch , they are a globalist channel. Trump reportedly said to them

"Donald Trump scolded media big shots during an off-the-record Trump Tower sitdown on Monday, sources told The Post.

“It was like a f−−−ing firing squad,” one source said of the encounter.

“Trump started with [CNN chief] Jeff Zucker and said, ‘I hate your network, everyone at CNN is a liar and you should be ashamed,’ ” the source said.

Trump will sort a lot of things out very quickly. It is a revolution

Trump will sort a lot of things out very quickly. It is a revolution

How do you think he'll control the media? Censorship? Abuse of power?

What would you think if Obama had said the same to Breitbart and in the same circumstances?

Lweji · 20/12/2016 19:07

Spin is a technique used for political purposes to influence the public,

Yes, and liberally used by Trump and his minions.

Missswatch · 20/12/2016 19:07

He spoke about changing libel laws. That's a start

claig · 20/12/2016 19:13

"What would you think if Obama had said the same to Breitbart and in the same circumstances?"

"Hillary Clinton’s Attack on Breitbart News is an Attack on Press Freedom

Hillary Clinton has a new target in her campaign against Donald Trump: Breitbart News. Her goal is not just to use Breitbart as a political foil, but to shut the site down entirely.

Deputy communications director Christina Reynolds sent a fundraising email earlier this week claiming that while other conservative news outlets had a “right to exist,” Breitbart News did not."

www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/08/24/breitbart-hillary-clinton-attack-attack-freedom/

'How do you think he'll control the media?'

I don't know how he will do it because I don't know any of the movers and shakers, I am not in and out of Trump Tower like Nigel Farage and All I have is the BBC and Guardian and youtube to learn what is going on, and without youtube I would be none the wiser because the BBC and Guardian are just Establishment and we know what they are like.

But my guess is that Trump will look into the owners like the Mexican Carlos Slim who owns a large chunk of the New York Times and he may look at business dealings etc

OP posts:
Lweji · 20/12/2016 19:14

As for elites and communists and the rich, I definitely need that list. It's getting too confusing.

Are the Bush family elite or puppets of elite?
Do the elites enjoy putting puppets against eachother?

Are Russian oligarchs elite, establishment or for the people?

Are oil corporations elite, establishment or people warriors?

lljkk · 20/12/2016 19:15

Any of the above, Lweji. Post truth means you can bend facts to fit whatever other agenda you have.

claig · 20/12/2016 19:16

No list for you, too snide. You will have to work it all out for yourself or watch the BBC to try and work out how it all works.

OP posts:
Lweji · 20/12/2016 19:17

I didn't ask about Hillary

"What would you think if Obama had said the same to Breitbart and in the same circumstances?"

But you don't seem to think that kind of pressure on media...

And do you think Presidents should be allowed to pressure media owners to manipulate the news to their liking?

cozietoesie · 20/12/2016 19:19

Might I enquire how you view the Vice President-Elect, claig? Smile

claig · 20/12/2016 19:20

'I didn't ask about Hillary

"What would you think if Obama had said the same to Breitbart and in the same circumstances?"'

Hillary and Obama are similar at teh top level, bth Democrats, probably similar donors.

'And do you think Presidents should be allowed to pressure media owners to manipulate the news to their liking?'

No manipulation, just looking at business dealings and possible pay for play etc. No problem with Trump doing that.

OP posts:
claig · 20/12/2016 19:24

'Might I enquire how you view the Vice President-Elect, claig?'

Don't know enough about him to say. I follow Trump, not Pence.

But from the little I have seen of Pence, he is an extremely good speaker and comes across very well, not arrogant etc, very clever and very good at media. However, from US shows that I watch, they say he is Establishment (which I am not keen on because they are usually puppets) and he is also too extreme fro me on religious issues from the little I have heard about him.

Lweji · 20/12/2016 19:25

No manipulation, just looking at business dealings and possible pay for play etc. No problem with Trump doing that.

But he's definitely pressuring them to report the news to his liking.
And you seem proud of it. Why? Doesn't that amount to an attempt at censorship?

cozietoesie · 20/12/2016 19:26

Well - 'a heartbeat away' and all that. You may end up with him. I'd do a little more familiarisation if I were you. After all, it's a two-person ticket.

Missswatch · 20/12/2016 19:30

Wow South. What are the fems doing? Whining about Trump it seems
