Media coverage deliberately biased against Corbyn, British public believes

claig · 04/09/2016 19:39

The public understand the media's game.

There is no fooling the public or the Corbynistas. The usual tactics of the metropolitan elite have failed.

"Perception of unfairness extends beyond supporters of Labour leader"
..
A majority of the British public believe the media is deliberately biased against Jeremy Corbyn and seeking to portray him in a negative light.
..
Women in the Labour selectorate were more likely to believe the coverage was biased than men and older people in the group were also more likely to believe it had been deliberately biased "

'The media is also against Trump. Maybe if you come across as unelectable the media will be against you.'

The media does the bidding of the "magic circle" and the "magic circle" are worried by Corbyn and Farage because the "magic circle" know that they wil ltake their wands away from them.

The media has told us that Corbyn is unelectable and of course they are always telling us that Trum is unelectable, which is what the "magic circle" told them to say. But today Andrew Neil has tweeted the truth and the "magic circle" are not happy.

"Andrew Neil ‏@afneil · 3h3 hours ago

New CNN poll: Trump ahead of Clinton 45% to 43%, with Libertarian Gary Johnson on 7% and the Green Party's Jill Stein at 2%. THIS IS A RACE!"

The "magic circle" don't like races because they might lose. They are casting spells and waving wands and are stirring a cauldon like witches in a Shakespeare play as they see their power slipping away and returning to the people.

Actually I had forgotten that Corbyn never got his degree.

Perhaps this is what it all boils down to then. Anti-establishment means anti-education.

God help us.

freetrampolineforall · 06/09/2016 16:22

Or they could both just be unelectable. Magic circle is a more hysterical way of saying The Consensus. Nothing wrong with shaking up the consensus but spouting conspiracy theories doesn't appeal.

claig · 06/09/2016 16:24

'Anti-establishment means anti-education.'

No, Trump tells us that he came top of his class at the prestigious Wharton Business School and he says that his IQ is off the Richter Scale.

Corbyn managed to get an E grade in his O or A levels.

'Corbyn managed to get an E grade in his O or A levels.'

and he is still smarter than the 172 combined and can run rings around the Establishment's 172 which just goes to show that exams aren't everything.

OP posts:
Kaija · 06/09/2016 16:28

So. Another try.

Claig, what exactly do you think "the Establishment" want, and how are all your anti-establishment figures from the far right to the hard left going to do about it?

freetrampolineforall · 06/09/2016 16:28

Corbyn has had a cushy job for ages and would vote against himself if it was a good enough pose.

EnthusiasmDisturbed · 06/09/2016 16:42

Anyone else picturing the 172 MP's being lined up then blindfolded and led downstairs beyond the basement of the HOP where the Establishment (who must not be seen) are sitting in a darkened room waiting to give their orders

Honestly it's sounding more and more like a Harry Potter storyline

Corbyn will never be PM but I am starting to wonder what is going on at all these rallies Corbyn is speaking he really has got a cult type following who are deluded in their belief he could ever be PM with little understanding of the countries politics or his history

freetrampolineforall · 06/09/2016 16:57

Lots of twinkly Harry Potter music in some of your posts, OP.
For the first time in my life ( and I have been able to vote since early 80s ) I will not be voting Labour next time around. Corbyn is a clown (a polite one, but still a clown). He might appeal to the already persuaded but he will never appeal to the country enough to get enough seats to Form A Government. He can ditch as many of his MPs as he likes. It will just keep Labour in the wilderness for longer.

Kaija · 06/09/2016 17:36

I agree, freetrampoline. The interesting thing about the op is that despite the cheerleading he's not at all interested in labour gaining power under Corbyn.

EnthusiasmDisturbed · 06/09/2016 17:43

He wasn't so smart a few weeks ago when he took that train journey

Or when he announced he wasn't wealthy

Or when he claimed that women will obviously want to get home to their children

claig · 06/09/2016 17:49

If Corbyn offers good policies on education, health, housing, nationalisation, Brexit and jobs, then I would be interested in Labour. It all depends what Corbyn comes up with. I am not interested in the 172, Theresa May is better than them. But even if I don't vote for Corbyn in the end, it is a great thing for the people that he has challenged the "magic circle" and given the 172 the shakes.

'He wasn't so smart a few weeks ago when he took that train journey'

My guess is that one of the ubiquitous "teenage whizzkid advisers" that the Establishment are so keen on possibly advised Corbyn to do that. The people give Corbyn a pass on that because they know he is "real".

OP posts:
EnthusiasmDisturbed · 06/09/2016 17:59

No his supporters give him a pass because he can do no wrong in their eyes they will always defend him

Everyone else thought what a numpty

claig · 06/09/2016 18:08

Tomoorow is the penultimate debate between Corbyn and the 172's Harry Rotter on BBC Question Time.

Owen Smith is probably preparing by being briefed by the 172 as they tell him everything they know (which won't take long) and Owen is probably being trained in the art of "hand gestures", mockney pronounciation and in the art of remembering the name of every audience member who asks a question and repeating it ad nauseam, with a smug smile on his face, to "show he cares" as per the teenage spin doctors' handbook.

Corbyn, on the contrary, is probably addressing a Stop the War rally, after which he will make his way to the allotment to check up on how the green beans are coming along, because he is "real".

OP posts:
claig · 06/09/2016 18:11

Sorry, it's on Thursday, not tomorrow.

OP posts:
EnthusiasmDisturbed · 06/09/2016 18:18

oh another rally how many is that in the last few weeks

Shame he hasn't put so much effort in his work as leader of the opposition or during the referendum

Still as long as he is keeping it real and gets to say a few crowd pleasing statements to his adoring followers what else matters not much to them

claig · 06/09/2016 18:38

He calls it a "movement". He has to keep the fans and crowds happy by addressing them.

OP posts:
claig · 06/09/2016 18:41

There is no point Corbyn addressing the 172. That would be like addressing an Establishment brick wall, so Crbyn goes over the Establishment's heads and goes direct to the people, the "movement" as he calls it. That was what the train stunt was probably all about; to show that he is with the people while the 172 probably travel first class.

OP posts:
EnthusiasmDisturbed · 06/09/2016 18:42

well he has never really had a proper job and as an MP has spent more time rebelling than supporting his party so all this movement mallarkey is just up his street

People will get bored soon

freetrampolineforall · 06/09/2016 19:08

The 172? These are democratically elected MPs, right? Just checking because I thought they were some self appointed randoms. No wait, those are Corbyn "supporters".

freetrampolineforall · 06/09/2016 19:11

OP, you are such a fab wind up merchant- ever thought of a career in stand up?

claig · 06/09/2016 19:13

'Just checking because I thought they were some self appointed randoms'

A lot of people thought that too, but they were selected by the Labour Party to stand for election as MPs.

OP posts:
claig · 06/09/2016 19:14

'ever thought of a career in stand up?' Grin

The truth is not a laughing matter.
