Labour Bremainers - is this whole agreeing with Cameron thing messing with your head a bit?

Because it's messing with my head - I find myself agreeing with him on a regular basis and that goes against everything I used to believe in.

We had a Remain canvasser the other day - pleasant, earnest young lad, frightfully posh. I reassured him that we were all voting In "because we're all Labour members" and he went "Oh! That's a terrible shame. Still, jolly good that you're voting In" and we both laughed awkwardly, both thinking "WTF is happening?". Is this just me?

Well I'm a Labour member and I agreed with Dave on gay marriage. And now the referendum. I just assume that like a stopped clock, he's right occasionally!

The whole party politics thing is way overdone in Britain and one of the major problems with our system. If we were less bothered about waging party war, less bothered about parties getting into power for it's own sake, and more focused on actually trying to ensure we listen to everyone and trying to get the best results we can for the population at large, we'd be doing much better. I hate Blair for his corruption of Labour to get into power more than Iraq. Much better to have a functioning opposition representing the voices of the poor of Britain than Tory-Lite.

So no I don't have a problem with agreeing with Cameron for once. Nice to see he can be sensible every so often. In fact with the stepback on academisation, the softer approach to TTIP, the reverse on benefits... I am daring to hope that we might actually have a functioning opposition and possibly a functioning Parliament. Or just hoping for hope, at any rate.

A friend and I shared the same EU referendum post on FB the other, in 30 years we have never agreed on politics! Completely opposite side usually!

Surprisingly not. I suppose I sort of see it as surpassing party politics. Plus, helpfully the leave campaign seems to be made up of people I loathe even more than Cameron.

I think it is good too that it is about the politics not just opposing each other for the sake of it.

I'm with David Cameron.

Mind you I did make my first ever Consevative vote last year, for a town councillor and that felt very strange too. Highly unlikely to repeat it at general election time though.

I'm a lp the tories are already shafting me. But I suspect Brexit would shaft me more. Feel very vulnerable tbh.

I don't know if my reasons for wanting to remain necessarily have anything to do with Cameron's and Osborne's. There are many different facets to this.
