I've just seen a harrowing piece on channel 4 news about a whole community evicted from their homes and which culminated in a man in a wheelchair, who had failed to secure appropriate accommodation being cast out it live in the wind.

Its all getting a bit much really.

More and more, when Im seeing what is happening to this country my brain flashes to 1984. The rich have got better and better and deferring cortisol (the stress hormone) onto the poor. I feel that the average person who doesn't happen to be born with a silver spoon or two in their mouths feels asphyxiated by the rich.
And when the rich briefly relinquish their hands from the throat, in order to prolong the torment I feel Im supposed to express gratitude before it starts again.
