Surprise after surprise.

I neither live in London (any more) of like Khan as he appears a bit thick and this is a big responsibility where mayors need to try think outside the box - but against a bright but eco warrior Goldsmith type with little curb appeal to the masses - you have to give Khan a much better than 50% chance of winning it. IMO.

May we live in interesting times, as even though London is pro Labour, this is a very good opportunity to see how a Corbyn leadership translate to votes in London - and if as radical as Corbyn has suggested, how those polices will fare to these voters before the next General Election.

Of course if a Corbyn Labour leader gets 'policy neutered' by the Labour Parliamentary Party as a whole, that will tell a different story entirely.

I don't know too much about it, but I'm sorry that Tessa Jowell didn't get the nomination.
