MPs behaviour in HoC

Its boorish, its rude, its smug, is overtly bullish, it disrespects the person speaking, it shows the actual worst in human behaviour.

If there was a lesson for my child how not to behave in public, its to watch the Budget or any teansmission from the House.

They are disgusting- Do they think that people are like this in 'real life'??

They are having a laugh. Are they not allowed to let their hair down after all the hard work for low pay they do? It's a bit of fun, a rollicking good laugh and the Labour benches seem to do most of it.

It's not acceptable to heckle in a normal workplace setting, why is it ok for them?

It just makes it sound less serious and a bit 'jokey' which it really isn't.

I don't understand politics and am prepared to be told I'm wrong and why, that's just how it comes across to me.

Yes, I was having a laugh. None of us think that, only the MPs think that.

I just hate it. When I used to watch debates at school, you were expected to shut up and listen to the person speaking, and treat the speakers with respect. The House sounds like a Zoo of braying donkeys. No manners. Thought I'd put it out there.

It's a boys club. And they don't give a toss what you think. You are simply pond life to them.

She, and many women MPs have publicly stated how dreadful they find HoC debates and PMQs in particular for all the reasons stated above.

I hope that if the next Labour leader is a woman you might see some of this boorishness start to subside and more grown up behaviour exhibited.
