What's going on with Cameron and Jon Snow?

Cameron seems awfully "lively" and "pumped up" in the past few days. It's as if someone from Oxbridge has attached some jump leads to him to give him a jolt, to let him know there is an election going on. Have the teenage think tank advisers from Oxbridge and the big financial donors told him to pull his finger out? If he carries on playing this act, he runs the danger of tripping up and saying something wrong and looking phoney.

And then there is the disaster that is Jon Snow. Two days in a row now on Channel 4 News, he has addressed two women voters in Scotland as "darling". Are there no teenage think tank advisers from Oxbridge at Channel 4 that can have a word with the dinosaur?

Oh that's disappointing. 'Darling' Hmm

And then there's Miliband going to meet his mentor and guru adviser - the "revolutionary" Russell Brand. From the clips of the meeting of teh meeting released so far, Ed is dropping more "gottas" and mockney than he's ever done before. have the Oxbridge teenage advisers told him to go for it in the last week?

What a game, what a charade, what a bunch of phoneys told what to do by the Oxbridge behind the scenes teams!

Thank God for someone genuine and real - Nigel Farage.

Oh no! Really?! I have (had?) so much respect for Jon Snow :(

'Oh that's disappointing. 'Darling''

It's terrible, twice in a row! People on market stalls might say it, but not a reporter on Channel 4 News, surely?

Oh, claig.

We'll miss you on the 8th when Farage has lost South Thanet and is no longer party leader...

Nigel will win. BBC Newsnight had a laugh at Nigel's expense yesterday when they said the prediction was now that UKIP may win 2 seats , but said the second one after Clacton was Thurrock and then said "sorry Nigel".

I don't believe their forecasts. My guess is they, and the Oxbridge teenage advisers and spinners, are way out. We'll find out on election night. I'll try and stay up to see Farage shake the system when he makes his victory speech.

Is that a joke?!

It must be...

claig · 28/04/2015 21:02

It's not a joke.

Notice that Cameron in hyper "lively" thespian mode today said that Russell Brand was a joke and that Ed miliband was a joke, but he never said that Nigel Farage was a joke. The reason is that his teenage advisers from Oxbridge don't see Farage as a joke, they see him as their worst nightmare. They aren't laughing at Farage, they are petrified of him, as is Cameron.

"David Cameron has said he has not "got time to hang out with Russell Brand", after being asked if he was jealous of Ed Miliband's meeting with the comedian.

"Politics and life and election and jobs and the economy is not a joke - Russell Brand's a joke!" he said.

"Ed Miliband, hang out with Russell Brand, he's a joke," he added before giving a defence of Tory austerity plans."

Judged in the longer term Jon Snow is my favourite political interviewer.

USA actor did a walk out on Jon Snows mate from channel 4 News.
Its on You Tube. (Actor named Downey) Walk outs are rare
