Help me explain to dd why not to vote ukip

Dd1, who is 12, says that her dad is going to vote ukip in the election. She knows enough to know that he really shouldn't. Bless her, she wants to explain to him in words of one syllable, why not.
It's no good telling him because they're racist/ sexist etc because he is too. (Don't even get me started, I know!!)
But, bearing I mind he has three daughters, why shouldn't he vote ukip? (He is an ignorant, white , fully abled,middle class man. Target audience I should think.who has zero empathy or understanding that one day his luck may change)

Thanks. Great article. Don't think it will make a difference to xh (One of the many reasons we're not together any more!) but might be good for ds to read, just so she can start to understand what women are up against. )

Those are good reasons for anybody not to vote UKIP.
