Justice for Men and Boys - Isn't this exactly why we need feminism

Heard Justice for Men and Boys Founder Mike Buccanan on Womens Hour earlier today complaining that men pay 72% of all income tax.
Well isn't that because they have more income?

And instead of complaining about the feminist agenda doesn't it demonstrate why we need it?

Judge the party by how many female friendly and PC laws they pass. Cameron implemented Harman's female only shortlist, the misogynistic bastard! Cameron and his ilk are very female-friendly, you should love him really.

What if I was an MP? How thrilled would you be if I was in the cabinet? I'm a woman. Doesn't quite add up that woman = feminist does it?

It does matter how many women are in the cabinet - as there aren't very many at all- and yes I'd be very pleased for you (a woman) to be in the cabinet. Campaigning for more women in positions of power does not mean "only women I agree with" or "only feminist women."

Cameron is nothing but a nepotistic old boys networker that gave his bessie mates like Gideon plum jobs in the cabinet.

Right. Which is marvelous for me, should I wish to screw my DH over. Unfortunately, I love him, and my sons. Plus I have a sense of fairness in general. Plus I know women are far from faultless.

But I would be pleased to see more women in the cabinet. Gideon isn't the best man for the Chancellor job (he's probably the worst!) - he got that job because he was Cameron's mate. There have been 'Men's Quota's' in parliament and in Boardrooms for generations - it's called the Old Boys Network.

This country has been reasonably successful thanks to the Old Boys Network. Nobody likes Osbourne do they?

I don't love him at all. I also can't find confirmation anywhere that Cameron has implemented All Women Shortlists? Can you provide a link?

If he has then it's not working because only 5 out of 32 current cabinet members are women.

As far as I'm aware the only party to use AWS has been Labour.

Ask Mike why he needs a new political party to stand up for Men's Rights then - the Old Boys Network is helping to keep women out of the powerful jobs in the Boardroom and the Government already.

It's also hardly indicative of the "meritocracy" that Mike Buchanan bangs on about. It's all about who you know, rather than your ability.

Why don't you take a look at his website and all your questions will be answered. I think Mike B has explained his motivations and goals clearly, and they're certainly set out on the web for all to see.

All feminists are interested in is getting women in the boardroom and government. I don't see them campaigning to get women into the logging industry.

Would you really want a job knowing that you only got the job because there were quota's to be filled? I wouldn't.

There is a reason that more women aren't in government or in boardrooms. They don't want it. All the feminists who bang on about filling those jobs don't want them either.
