I've just received a letter asking me for my opinion and ideas on the council's decision to stop paying council tax benefit to those of working age. They are apparently trying to come up with a scheme to help poorer people in the area, and are canvassing for ideas.... but unless I know their available budget, anfd what it is currently being spent on, I cannot make a realistic contribution.
