It has already ... we have friends with children with additional support needs and they are exhausted with frustration at trying to have their children educated with year on year cuts to the ASN staff in schools.

It's truly shocking. The piece I linked to is an excellent piece of writing that says it all, really.

The pro cuts contingent should read it. There MUST be a fairer way, if we had the will, rather than the wholesale destruction of individual lives. We only have one. What is a minuscule amount of money to government/bankers etc is life changing to an ordinary person. How can we live in a world where a bankers trinket is deemed more important than a disabled boy's education & self esteem? (bit simplified but tbh that's what it boils down to)
