Thatcher refuses to meet Sarah Palin

on the ground that Palin is "nuts".

Well done, Maggie! I have long despaired of the fact that if I were in America in 2008, I would have been forced to vote for Obama, purely because of Sarah Palin's idiocy.

Maggie continues to impress, even in her twilight years. What a truly remarkable woman she was - and is!

The 'ally' seems to have said this to the Guardian. Not sure we can take it for granted that Thatcher said it.

Tim Montgomerie is Iain Duncan Smith's protege - much more socially conservative than Cameron, but from the religious end of the Tory party - the minority which believes increasing International Aid is worthwhile.

I understood it that Mrs Thatcher is very frail and suffering from dementia, so I can't see she could give the quote concerned.
