Yes except no other sector that makes enough to cover chidlcare and allows me to be at home for holidays (holiday scheme has been cut to 2 hours a day).
I am trying to find something but bear in mind I am in South Wales; jobs are limited at teh best of times and Dh does not finish university until next year so never knows what hours he will be about to cover (I had an interview as a very part time social researcher offered six months ago but couldn't even get cover for the interview as SSD said no and Dh was in an exam; if I don;t find work dh's self employment relies of university so daren't mess with that IYSWIM). Moving not an option; finally got boy's SNU palces sorted, won't screw that for them for anything. We moved to get here so not laziness, but boys come first and ds1's new school is a rare gift (specialist AS base for comp).
Am still looking for ideas of course but was only on news last week so still abit down and in shcok which I think is natural. Part time MA is going well (A in research module) and might lead to something but I am waiting to hear from the SW tutors, emailed them this morning.
Taken me access, degree and MA to get to what at least FEELS like another closed door.
And oh yes a third child of mine was referred to ASD diagnostic clinic last month so anohter set of hurdles! Bit BOGOF on hurdles here in my house LOL 
Which is why am feeling a bit meh I guess.
Still, 2012 is the key: I have time yet. Until then we are OK. After that no. And dh's net based shop launches week after next so got to hope we get some trade (very niche so not trying to advertise!)
