Blimey Glasnost - do you really believe all that?

Taking the article at face value - why does it not mention the role (and potential) of the Internet and social networking? I thought it was millions of Facebook types that financed Obama's journey to the Whitehouse - not corporations.

And where do Bill Gates & co fit into this narrative - super wealthy types who appear to care about others and, are motivated to reduce their wealth not increase it?

You not one of those but a tad naive I fear jack. No time to blather on re. this but wanted to post it to give it wider audience so to speak.

Sounds about right to me, the Tory party has always been the partner and lickspittle of big business and has always turned a blind eye to it's shady practises until the light of public opinion can no longer be ignored.

Look at the hacking scandal lots of brushing it under the carpet (with the help of the Police) thank God the Guardian did not let it drop. In the end a few scapegoats will be sacrificed and those at the top of News Corp will walk away from it.
