There's a very similar thread on this board already. Personally, I think he's got a bit mixed up in his definitions & then making erroneous conclusions... it's not the size of the 'national debt' that is causing the crisis and Cameron is not trying to 'cut our debt by slashing our spending'. The national debt will be higher next year than it is this year, even with cuts in spending.

Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Si. Oui. Etc.

Oh which thread? Can you point me to it?

It's called 'Why the government is lying'... And FWIW Glasnost wouldn't believe the government if they told them it was April. :)

"And FWIW Glasnost wouldn't believe the government if they told them it was April. "

Would that be the royal "them" Chil?

It's not April BTW. It's an April fool's prank. It's actually still March.

Chil1234 · 02/04/2011 11:46

It would the 'them' meaning 'you'. If the government told you today was Saturday, you'd disbelieve them automatically.

glasnost · 02/04/2011 11:51

It's not Saturday. It's sabato. Smile

Seen the thread. Thanks.
