Back in November 2010 many families who have lost loved ones to the human form of mad cow disease (CJD/vCJD) gathered in London to ask the Prime Minister what he proposes to do to stop the spread of CJD/vCJD, they have never had the decency of a reply. We know that today we risk being given this fatal disease through blood supplies, we do not screen donated blood for the human form of mad cows disease, our government are putting lives at risk by not introducing the current technology which can detect and filter prions, why? what are they afraid of?
