The BBC's own director-general has admitted to massive, systemic left-wing BBC bias in the past.

If the left weren't prepared to admit it then, why should we pay any credence to what they say now, given that the HEAD of the BBC has confirmed what was going on?

Obviously he isn't going to say that the rampant bias of the past is still there today, because that would mean he had failed at his job...

LFN. the only reason I can see that others do not love David as much as I do is they do not recognise his je ne sais quoi, their own husbands cant be a handsome, intelligent(can't put a foot wrong) as relatively young David is, he has rescued this country from the grasping hands of Labour. Is now trying to fix what was broken by Brown and Co, and still they complain!

LadyBlaBlah · 04/01/2011 22:13

"In the past"

Not in 2009

LadyBlaBlah · 04/01/2011 22:13

Or even 2010

2shoes · 04/01/2011 22:14

he is the worst kind of con artist

longfingernails · 04/01/2011 22:15

Says who?

Why do the BBC consistently refuse to have scientific surveys done on the matter?

The HEAD of the BBC will say anything to please those 'in charge' to try and keep the BBC going, as the current administration has indicated that it hates the BBC - the Tories have a long history of this (see Family Britain, Kynaston). Plus I would not listen to what he says right now as he is so far up Clegg/ Cameron's peachy little private school arses that he can no longer see out.

YES the BBC are biased! thought I would provide the link, so that you could see them admitting what we all knew!

I don't particularly like David Cameron. He has sold the Tories out too many times, especially on the EU. However, I recognise the massive achievement he has made in detoxifying the Tory brand.

My favourite politician would probably be George Osborne.

I was very disappointed when Jeremy Hunt let the BBC off with a pathetic licence fee freeze for 6 years - only a 16% cut in real terms.

The licence fee should have been halved over that period, at the very least.

I used to think Jeremy Hunt was ideal for the Culture role, but it seems he, too, is going to sit back passively and let the BBC continue spouting its Guardian drivel.

LFN. Was only joking, I'm not that keen on him either, particularly having met him. Still think he's doing a good job at sorting the country out. I like Hague, pity people keep having a 'go' at him.

mycounty · 04/01/2011 22:28

Goodnight and especially to all of you Tories! Smile

longfingernails · 04/01/2011 22:28

Cameron is a natural PM - in the same way that Tony Blair and Maggie were, and in contrast to John Major and Gordon Brown, who self-evidently just weren't comfortable in the job.

And SKY isnt biased ?

longfingernails · 04/01/2011 23:18

Nobody is forced to pay for Sky.

OP posts:
newwave · 04/01/2011 23:52

You are if you want to watch programmes that were once free to air until SKY arrived.

As for "Dave" being popular, this I dont doubt after all there are a lot of the rich, the uncaring, the selfish and bankers, in this country.

huddspur · 05/01/2011 00:17

Its a pretty meaningless survey to be honest
