It shows how powerful the press are.

Cameron could of said, I am not taking any
action against anyone over secretly recorded
gossip. The press should not be doing that.

But he didn,t say that and the incident has wrecked Cams sacking policy. hmmmmm

How many more have the telegraph recorded?

It shows how vain politicians are.... not how powerful the press are, necessarily. LOL! When a pretty young reporter oohs and aahs at how marvellously influential you are Mr Cable... and flutters her wide-eyed-lashes in his direction urging him to be indiscreet and gossipy, then more fool him.

Cameron will move Cable in a New Year reshuffle... but he needs senior Lib Dems in the Coalition cabinet and there are precious few to choose from.
