Anyone here in the Co-op Party?

I think maybe I've had my head in the sand for years as I have only recently heard of the Co-operative Party.

There is an Asda closer to me than any Co-op shop so I'd not really investigated much about the shops (but we do go there at Christmas and Easter as they have a better range of fair trade choccies than Asda).

I've always been a bit of a liberal hippy type so this political party/movement seems right up my street but I wondered if anyone here has or has had anything to do with them and could offer any comment on them?

Well, I've taken the jump and joined. I have never been part of a political party before, it's always seemed too grown-up for me but I think it feels more important now.
