I think she should wear this:

Speaking of baby clothes, I wonder if EdM will steal this design to dress his new baby in? grin

Enough to make you puke.

longfingernails · 06/10/2010 00:06

newwave Why? She's delightful and beautiful and bonny and innocent and very very cute.

Bluefingernails, I thought you'd be all over MN today. Been too busy to post?

longfingernails · 06/10/2010 00:25

foxytocin Yes, work comes before MN.

OP posts:
sharbie · 06/10/2010 00:31

oh dear

foxytocin · 06/10/2010 00:31

So not visiting any of the Child benefit threads tonight now that you have some time on your hands blue fingernails?

longfingernails · 06/10/2010 01:06

foxytocin I don't know why you are being so hostile, but as it happens, I think the concept of getting rid of child benefit for high earners is excellent - and they have three years to get the details right, to make sure that the various anomalies are ironed out.

A new Yougov poll says that 83% of people support the changes. MN is hopelessly unrepresentative, yet again.

OP posts:
Aitch · 06/10/2010 01:16

actually they agree 'in principle' with high earners losing CB, which is a wee bit different. i agree in principle - either that or i think that ALL benefits should be made universal and tax should become more sophisticated (and higher) - but the policy hasn't been thought through at all.

foxytocin · 06/10/2010 07:45

Not being hostile, just
Thought you had some mettle for
banter but apparently not. Now i'm wondering if you are only able to banter when you think you're in some position of advantage. Nevermind.

foxytocin · 06/10/2010 07:48

So many people support it now cox the Tories are warming the the proles up for some deep
cuts to come their way. This is only a warm up
Salvo.

How did this turn into another CB thread? Thought it was to agree or disagree about how cute a baby is.

LadyBlaBlah · 06/10/2010 08:02

LOL @ quoting a YouGov poll

That beacon of integrity and balance

diabolik · 06/10/2010 08:03

SandStorm to late the baby is now politicised ;) , I am waiting for the first poster to say that Florence is all Thatchers fault.

Misshousehunter · 06/10/2010 08:24

Where's Daves wedding ring?

I prefer more natural shots of families.

cinnamontoast · 06/10/2010 12:31

'Florence is so adorable'
And this is in Politics because?

LadyBlaBlah · 06/10/2010 12:48

Because Florence is a vital tool in Cameron's depleting armoury

weblette · 06/10/2010 12:50

Yet another reason why MN should have a vomit smiley

gingercat12 · 06/10/2010 12:52

cinnamontoast It is in politics, because Cameron uses his children as props for political purposes.

Faaamily · 06/10/2010 12:52

SamCam's looking pretty bloody radiant, though, isn't she?

p.s. Vote Labour!

I don't know Longfingernails; it was the Tories that had the first woman PM but she was not from Cameron's class. I think Future Prime Minister's Fragrant and Supportive Wife is more likely for Florence tbh.

foxytocin · 06/10/2010 13:01

"A new Yougov poll says that 83% of people support the changes."

So are you saying that 83% of the population support changes or 83% support removing Earners or their spouses and partners from receiving CB?

These are 2 different thing. The stream of your posts is suggesting that they are the same.

or is this a part of the whitewash Con?

foxytocin · 06/10/2010 13:02

High Earners

ShirleyKnot · 06/10/2010 13:12

why would the baby need a future prime minister babygro.

Unless you're suggesting that we just wipe out democracy and start an ancestoral regime with Dave at the head to be followed up by his fourth born child.

Think things through before you post them, yeah?
