LOL David Miliband just gave the most wonkish possible opening answer - on New Labour.

On last night's Question Time was array of reasons why they lost the election! Ed Balls should win then Labour will NEVER have a chance of being in again. Has the man not heard of the deficit? There he was, happily still thinking that he could spend millions of borrowed money. Amazing!
I objected that the whole programme then descended into Tory bashing...it seems that it's the only thing they have to say! Give the Co-al a chance! They've only been in 4 months, and they've done more positive stuff in that time than in 13 years of the community-destructing labour govt.
