Jack Straw ranted about marriage tax breaks and Forgemasters for ages. Then other MPs started asking decent questions.

Talked about DLA medical tests after asked by Kate Green (Lab)

Clegg answers that simple medical test makes sense & many recipients would prefer to bureucracy.

Now talking about child detention and closing Yarlswood.

Wish it had been Harriet Harman -thought Straw was a bit rubbish and shouty.

If Sheffield Forgemasters were willing to dilute their equity, why didn't they just do it?

Credit has eased a lot since the credit crunch, though still not enough. If Sheffield Forgemasters can't convince a bank to fund their loan, why should the taxpayer take the risk?

Jack Straw was rubbish. The Speaker is awful too. Clegg did OK but not brilliantly - he didn't answer the questions about Forgemasters, though he should have been able to.

Disappointing all round, I think. Still, good to hear that child detention is going to stop!

Poor old Clegg.... hope he enjoys his moment in the sun because it sounds like his left-wing are about to stab him firmly between the shoulder-blades. "Et tu Simon"
