FOOD STANDARDS AGENCY TO BE ABOLISHED

The Food Standards Agency was set up to protect consumers from the Mad Cow Disease crisis, under this new coalition government it is to be abolished. I found this FSA to be very useful for information and help, also to be abolished is the "Traffic Light" food labelling. More info on Reuters news.

I remember have a picnic in the 80s with some friends, there was a small herd of bullocks in the field we were in watching us.
It was a lovely sunny day, beers and guitars.
Then one of them started frothing at the mouth twitching and fell over.
We all left quickly after.
I went vegi for two years after seeing it. And I like eating meat.

The Tory deregulated the meat industry, the FSA was introduced because of the chaos that this caused. I think this is very worrying.
