Summary:

FourArms - Asked us to pray for her sister's MIL at the beginning of Sept. Sis's MIL had had a nasty fall and two tumours had been discovered in her brain, which led to a DX of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Diane (sis's MIL) had Chemo and managed to make it to a special family Wedding before dying peacefully. Prayers are with the family and friends. xx

SilverFox - Has moved house!!! Prayers for her and her family as they settled into their new home and neighbourhood. Prayers for FIL who has split up with his fiancée and is struggling.
Brokkenhearted - Popped by to ask for prayers for her in her job hunting. The family have no income coming in. Hope you found something!!?

Amber - Prayers for sister who has lost the sight in one eye and is having tests etc to ascertain what exactly is wrong with her.

Soooooz - Prayers for DS1 who has been dealing with some nasty bullying issues at school.

FAQ - Prayers for lovely FAQ who is currently dealing with some very serious mental health issues concerning her DH. She is also waiting to find out whether she is poss PG or not too. Wrap this family up in your love and care right now, Lord.

MaryBS - Praying for her in her new job as a p/t payroll assis at school and BIG prayers for her DH who has DVT in his leg and has been really struggling health-wise recently. She also asked for prayers for a Big Issue seller she met who was just about to give birth.

Varicosveined - Prayers for her marraige, which is in trouble and also for her 7 yr old nephew who had been rushed to hospital (update??)

slapheadsrock - Prayer for her marraige, which has experienced some violent episodes. She is giving it one last chance.

DutchOma - Prayers for her family as they mourn her cousin who passed away in Sept.

Hellium - Prayers for her Grandma who is in hospital after a horrid Hit and Run incident.

WeegieMum - Recently came back from a trip to Venezuela where she and her DH decided this particular missionary opportunity was not for them. Prayers for the family as they have been experiencing some ill health since arriving back, particularly WM who has been DX with Pleurisy. Prayers for God to show them the way forward now ....

Saliswan - Prayers that her house move would be smooth!! Lots of prayers for uplifting and comfort as she has been struggling a lot of late. xx

M44 - Was recently in hospital after experiencing a burst ovarian cyst. She is recovering now

YorkshireTeaDrinker - Would like prayers for a woman at her church who has been very seriously ill in hospital, following the birth of twins. The twins are fine, but she experienced multiple organ failure. She is improving now and is allowed to see her babies.

Misdee - Peter had an infection scare, but is home from hospital now and doing well

MJIM - Prayers for lots of horrid ill health in her house recently, especially little N. xx

MrsJamin - She is 20 wks PG and has been coping with insomnia and a toddler who wakes at 5am. Struggling.

morning all. Please pray for a great niece of a df. She is 3 and passing blood in her stools and is in pain when she goes. She also had nose bleeds a little while ago which were unexplained. The concern is her dgm has a colstomy and great grandparents had bowel problems too.

I have been praying hard all week for my dear dear husband- he has been very sad since being told he will be made redundant at Christmas from a job he loved. He has had an interview this week for a new job that he would really love to get- please can you help me?

I've been up to my eyeballs with an essay I'm writing and a friend in relationship trauma (now sorted out, Praise the Lord!). But still praying for you all - it was great to chat to DO (and someone else whose MN NN I can't remember!!) on Facebook yesterday!

We are well. Well, sort of. Dh is still very tired and run down from all the colds we have had. He's off to bed at 8.30 tonight. I'm doing better - had a meeting with the clinical psychology people this week and am starting a new round of CBT in 2 weeks, which I am thankful for. I was only referred in February! Kids are well - all went to school every day this week, no illnesses!!

Tomorrow I am off to the Scotland MN Christmas night out and am unfeasibly excited about having a couple of cocktails and a buffet tea!

Have been getting a lesson in simple faith from my 4yo dd recently - it's amazing to watch her worldview develop, with God's love unquestionably there at the heart of it.

It has really helped me because often my doubts come from pride: I doubt things I can't understand instead of accepting they're bigger than I am. Just because I don't see how this fits into the plan doesn't mean there isn't a plan....

Anyway, just wanted to share that.

Had terrible night tonight with H. I strongly suspect he is on something or drinking and had a massive row with him over the phone. He is meant to be coming back for Christmas but i dont see that happening. I am having such a terrible time with it all and i just wanna run away (i wont but i really want to) I want it all to disappear.

Just wanted to let everyone know that despite our prayers, my friend's IVF was unsuccessful. Please pray that she and her husband will find comfort and peace.

I was wondering if I could request everyone to pray for my father. It seems that the time away from chemo, so he could have the first growth removed, has allowed it to take grip again and spread further than before. We were told last time it would be to extend rather than cure however he did so well (an op was even out of the question) that we have allowed ourselves to think it would be beaten. It now seems certain that this is not the case. A year of all this fighting and pain and once again, just before christmas, we are being told there is no hope.

Please can you pray to give my mum and dad the strength they need to get through this, to help me cope and be the daughter they need, and of course that they are wrong and he can get through this.

Thanks to everyone in advance and of course will pray for you all too.

It is hard as nothing can progress until this report is back. Driver on bail and will be until that comes back and no inquest or trial can be held.

Lots of prayers going out from here for everyone. No words from me can comfort, but God can give you peace that is beyond what we can understand. So hard to be having a tough time just before Christmas when it feels like everyone else is having fun. It makes loss and pain feel so much more acute.

Good 80's Party last night, but feel pretty rough and still feel crappy now Boooo! DH off to church with others and I am staying at home to recuperate and watch last night's X-Factor with my duvet on the Sofa.

I had some very bad news recently and wonder if you could pray for my darling 18 yr old cousin who has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She has had an operation to remove a huge tumour, and starts her chemotherapy tomorrow. Her family are in shock and doing their best to support her.

Just after hearing the news, I happened to be singing in a church, for the first time in many years. I tried to pray for her, but ir felt wrong to be asking for help, when I haven't been to church for years.

OK after talking to a lot of people about my situation I have given DH an ultimatum.

He may come back at Christmas (swears he is now off the heroin - I think I believe him. Culprit was a sleeping tablet to help him sleep the other day - I have made clear NOT acceptable) seen as he is so keen to prove he can be the father and husband he could be, HOWEVER, this is the last chance, he has left several times now and things have been terrible for a long time. If we split again I will instantly file for a divorse because the relationship is too unhealthy to continue and I would be better continuing my life alone.

I do love him, I hope we can have a good relationship with some help (conciling etc).

Please pray for him and for us as a couple. Of course my dear child, who fortunately does not understand yet.

Please can I ask for prayers for my parents who are moving house. They're leaving their home of 43 years and moving to a flat in sheltered accommodation. I pray that my dad - who suffers from dementia - won't be too upset / confused by the move and my mum will finally be able to relax and have the support she needs.
