TotoAnnihiliation

It's so interesting isn't it. Did you get your raw data analysed?
Both your parents have the red hair gene- it's a recessive , so you may have Viking ancestry on both sides!!

Thank you @BlurpBlorp, @speakout and @TotoAnnihiliation, much appreciated.
@speakout, I appreciate your nudging of being more assertive, but have tried this in the past with him - red rag to a bull. He is properly addled unfortunately, and dangerous with it - after multiple incidents last year, I have no idea how he is free to walk the streets.

On a brighter note, a baby magpie came to say hello this morning. Despite their reputations, I have a soft spot for them and their corvid cousins!

AnotherCrazyBirdLady I can imagine that your neighbour would not respond well to a direct confrontation- I was actually suggesting something a little more covert.

Ah, I see! Very tired here, sorry! What I have been trying is sending peaceful waves around my home to calm the atmosphere. I have been very hesitant about anything more forceful, as I tried this once and it backfired directly on me. Do you have any suggestions, please?

Good afternoon sisters. Have any of you been affected by the Lionsgate energy? I've had a funny few days, I had a headache all day Sunday and yesterday I felt so exhausted, I fell asleep at 5pm! Very dehydrated too, even though I've been drinking pints of water. I'm feeling better today but will be taking it easy I think. I'm looking forward to a gentle Body Balance class this evening.

BlurpBlorp great pictures, thank you for sharing. The Lake District is on my list of places I want to visit. A friend went a couple of weeks ago and loved it, said the scenery is amazing.

Speakout that's so interesting about the DNA analysis. I'd be really interested to understand my ancestral history. I've always felt a huge pull towards Scotland, and I'm certain I must have ancestral ties. When I went to Edinburgh for a weekend, I felt more at home there than anywhere else I've ever been to. I'm also pulled to Scandinavian countries and have always felt drawn to visit Iceland, Norway, etc. I think it's fascinating to understand more about your ancestors and where you come from , and I love that you're going to use this knowledge to work with your at Samhain.

Was hoping for an update on the church/fairy garden. I popped in this morning to have another chat with the caretaker, but he was engrossed in conversation with the vicar. I will try again next week.

VioletCharlotte I feel very thirsty too in he past few days, been drinking lots of herbal tea and water with lemon.
I do feel a sense of calm, and have been sleeping well.
Body Balance sounds just the ticket. You can have your DNA analysed by one of the many companies, normally costs around £50-£60, there are often discounts. That will show you close realatives ( as long as they have also doe that particualr test. I hae found a number of second and third cousins that way.
You can then download the raw data and send it to another site who will look for genetic linkage patterns from archeological sites and give you a deeper and older analysis. You can get primary analysis free.

TotoAnnihiliation · 10/08/2021 18:15

@speakout yes, I did have my DNA analysed, there were no real surprises, other than the Norway links. I did find some third cousins that my immediate family had lost contact with.

I was able to introduce two family families as first cousins to each other. I was in contact with one branch, but the other branch had been lost to us over time. They were first descendants of the 'lost children' who were sent to Canada during the beginning of the twentieth century.

violetCharolotte it is interesting to hear this. i crashed at 5:30pm last night and didn't wake til morning.

BlankTimes · 11/08/2021 01:35

Good evening sisters, I found an energy shift last week, things had been pretty mediocre for quite a while and then whoosh, lightness and happy things. Long may it continue Halloween Smile

All of your ancestry work sounds fascinating, it's on my very long list of things to try.

BlurpBlorp Castlerigg, aka The Carles is one of the most accessible and visually stunning ancient places. It's set on a flat platform surrounded by mountains. I was alone there, by choice, one literally dark and very stormy night. In the daytime it's often overrun with coachloads of tourists which is the fate for a lot of popular sites. The quality of the light there in winter is amazing too. Definitely magic in the air

BlankTimes Stunning photographs- a very magical place. Cumbria is a beautiful part of the country, home to Beatrix Potter, full of rugged scenery and quaint tearooms, ancient sites. Lots to do and see. I haven't visited the stones.
There is something quite special about arriving at these sites with no one else around. Part of the reason I like the smaller and less visited places - it's wonderful to have the magic all to yourself, rather than sharing with a bus load.
It's a cool morning, but a coral pink sunrise, dawn is getting noticeably later, I love all seasons, but have a particular soft spot for autumn.

Trenzalor · 11/08/2021 08:24

@BlankTimes I had a similar energy shift.

My prosperity sigil has shown itself. I received a refund for something I wasn’t expecting and remembered a gift card I had forgotten. Small things, yes, but extremely useful for me.

Have a lovely day - it looks like another beautiful day here which feels long overdue.

And my OH just got paid for some work he did. Sighs of relief all round.

Trenzalor · 11/08/2021 08:43

I’ve learnt so much from these threads (I’m on thread three of the former ones as well) and realised in the past my intention hasn’t been clear enough. I’ve been too muddled of head with all the possibilities good and bad. I now know without clarity I cannot ‘cast’.

VioletCharlotte · 11/08/2021 11:35

Blanktimes fabulous photos! It looks like a really special place, how amazing to be there alone.

Speakout autumn is my favourite season too. It feels that the season is turning later this year, I've noticed the blackberries are still green, this time last year they were ripe and ready to pick.

Tranzalor great work! How brilliant to get a result so quickly 💫

It's my eldest DS birthday today, he's 22! He's spending the day with his girlfriend in London, I'm looking forward to seeing him this evening, we're all going out for a meal.

Happy birthday to your DS, and to you- a child's birthday holds lots of memories of the birth for us as mothers, and that needs to be celebrated too. Flowers

I visited Castlerigg circle once, such a beautiful, powerful place.

Beautiful breezy sunny day here and there's the scent of hope on the breeze. I felt so down yesterday, overwhelmed thinking about the climate, the inequality of women, men's stupidity and determinedness to repeat mistakes in an insane circle.

I had an early night after an evening drinking cup after cup of chamomile tea and I feel so much better today.

Whatever happens, I'm here. I am who I am and I still have choice and power at my finger tips to make changes.

Happy Wednesday lovelies Smile

VioletCharlotte · 11/08/2021 13:17

Thank you Speakout that's so true. I always get emotional on their birthdays! I think I've said this before, but DS was born on the solar eclipse in 1999. I've always called him my magical baby!

speakout · 11/08/2021 17:52

VioletCharlotte

That's very special- to be born on a solar eclipse day. Take time to honour yourself. You produced life- that is something to be celebrated!

My eldest son turned 16 last week. A momentous occasion. But it made me remember that it was mere weeks before my own 16th birthday (which was also the day I collected my GCSE results!) that my beloved Grandfather died (7th August) and that morning is still etched in my memory. So this year marks 30 years without him.

Interesting to read of others struggling with being dehydrated. I am always mindful to drink plenty of water and herbal tea through the day but I am feeling quite parched! I have found this Lions gate opening has stirred me right up, and I am incredibly frustrated and emotional.
My husband has taken this week off work and is spending lots of one on one time with our youngest which is giving me some much needed space.

HillsBesideTheSea · 11/08/2021 19:51

How is your 16yr old feeling about tomo? Mine is pacing the house and just hit the door slamming phase of stress. I know it is just his expression of his stress but i am finding it exhausting. I will be glad when tomo is over and we can find a new equillibrium/move into the next phase. I hope things are calmer in your house.

LumpySpacedPrincess · 11/08/2021 20:17

My daughter gets her results tomorrow.

She keeps putting herself in bed for a nap to make the time pass, just want it over now.

speakout · 11/08/2021 20:28

Sending positive energy to all awaiting results tomorrow.
No matter the outcome life is full of opportunities.
