Golden Monolith is in Chia municipality, Colombia, it is pictured here alongside more new ones.

Scroll past the Galactic federation article and the Monolith article with photos is at the bottom.

Hills you're right, Mindfulness of practice, and you need to become a better version of you is a recurring theme in many practises.
Fingers crossed for the cooker. Maybe try something like a plug-in induction hotplate and a plug in halogen oven for emergencies.

Aerwyna yes, do keep on with the small steps, it's all good progress, I'm doing the same. Your tree will be absolutely what you need!

Queen the shift sounds amazing, may you feel that lightness always.

Speakout your tree sounds wonderful. We're doing a little bit every day so it's a slow metamorphosis.

HillsBesideTheSea · 09/12/2020 13:18

I have been surviving on crockport, microwave, hotplate etc for the last 2 months. It is just with allergies I have to cook 3 different meals at the same time sometimes and it had become a disheartening nightmare. New cooker fitted and newness burnt off. Looking forwards to cooking again, which makes the soul a little happier. I do love a good touch of kitchen witchery.

HillsBesideTheSea I absolutely understand your joy at having a proper cooker! Until the end of this summer I had only the Baby Belling and microwave for warm weather cooking and after 5 years of this I had enough and paid to have a cooker point and cooker fitted. It made such a huge difference to how I felt about being in the kitchen preparing food.
We have the Rayburn going now, but as it runs the heating we simply can't have it on once temps rise.

I was at the hairdresser this morning for the first time since February. Nothing drastic, as I am growing my hair so it was a trim and tidy up. This is unusual for me as I have had a radical bleach and colour job for the last couple of years. But it had mostly grown out in Feb (it was v short) and not being able to go to the salon means I am natural for the first time in ages. I'm embracing it!

I'm just heading to bed for an early night with a book.

Thanks all for the warm welcome 💕🌞

@BlankTimes so so interesting about Jupiter and Saturn I feel what a year it has been and there something else just waiting around the corner.

Thanks for those who asked after DD3 she tested negative and we are all back at school. I’ve been a bit wobbly today feel like all I am doing right now is fighting, against my body and the constant pain, work, teenage DDs, the world really. Nothing goes right for me.

Just need a quiet bean bag and a cuppa by the fire tonight hope everyone else is doing ok

speakout · 10/12/2020 07:05

sweetkitty I am sorry to hear things are still tough for you. Keep nurturing your core, take time to be a compassionate friend to yourself.X
HillsBesideTheSea glad you have your kitchen, I can picture you cooking up some magic in there!
*queenrollo" I hope you had a restorative night- glad you are enjoying your new hair style.
I too defiantly have long hair. I was brought up with the idea that women over a certain age should have short hair, indeed their appearance so bad that they "look like witches".
Well bugger that. Have hair any length you like at any age.
In fact having washed my hair last night I am just about to sit with a curling wand to set it into crazy Medusa ringlets today- just the ticket!

Sometimes it feels good to stamp our feet into the earth. Mud between the toes is very empowering.

Hi,
I've been quiet. In my own cave. As you may know, I lost my beloved dog and my beloved mum this years. Weeks apart from each other.
I ma grateful for the space that lock down affords, to be honest. I find the pressure of society a bit much at times.
It's another birthday today without my mum here. My eldest son turned eleven today. Eleven years ago my mum was here and she was sleeves rolled up and ready to birth with me. She is amazing.
I have had a dark fews days. Looking out at the bare tree in the garden has helped. I almost can't stand the thought of spring. Time just continues to pass... And it makes me sad.
But... I have children to raise, books to write, a house to decorate... Lots of things. And I do know mum wants me to do them all.
It just... Changes you. Does it?
I had a muddy walk with my dog through the woods, and a good friend called on me.. She said it sounded like I needed a friend. I'm glad she did.
I'm just getting warm before I have to start the house chores.

Spiritwriter

I hear your sorrow. The time of year echoes loss too- bare trees, stillness, but feeling nature in the quiet time can nurture and sit with us in our loss.
I too have had a close bereavement, and it was near christmas, I found it hard when office parties and bustling shops and bars were in full swing.
I understand that lockdown gives you space to grieve.
And it is a process, and yes it does change you, it is bittersweet. Despite the pain it shows us the depths of love, and brings us closer to those we love and have here.
I think grief is cyclical, we return to the overwhelming feelings, but with each passing we become a little stronger, the waves happen less frequently, and sometime we realise we have gone a whole day without a crashing wave.
Then the time increases between the waves, we find time to laugh and enjoy. The days turn into weeks. But all this takes time.

Allow yourself to feel, but also take steps to care for yourself.

I hope you have a gentle evening.

Spiritwriter yes, it does change you and it can catch you 'off guard' out of the blue and bounce you right back. 'Speakout's* words are very wise, as always.

Monolith mayhem has struck on Dartmoor and on Glastonbury Tor.

I love the wit of the Tor one Halloween Grin

speakout · 11/12/2020 06:32

My goodness, some people are going to a lot of trouble wth these structures!
It's a very wet start to the day here, rain is battering against my window.
I amy do a little christmas shopping today, just locally, we have a lovely arts and crafts centre set in the grounds of a local Duke's estate, a converted stable, now coffee shop, alternative healing centre, pilates, yoga etc, and some lovely little shops selling local crafts, artisan food etc.
I need to go into the city centre at some point but right now that is not allowed due to covid.
I spoke to a lovely women in a little local gift shop yesterday ( I always make a point of buying some regular supplies from her). She sells cards, wrapping paper, some candles, jewellery etc.
We chatted for a while, and she told me she keeps black obsidian in her bra as she absorbs too much energy from her customers. Amazing to hear that people you meet in everyday life use magical practice!
She also told me that Covid has brought her a bumper month. So many people buying christmas gifts locally to avoid big shops.
In the midst of so many shops failing and staff losing their jobs it's good to hear that some small businesses are thriving.

Sending energy for a calm Friday.

Have only posted once on this thread - quite a while back, so hope you don't mind me posting as I am not a regular contributor.

Spiritwriter, sorry to hear about your losses. Grief and loss does indeed change you (well it has changed me anyway). For me, it is the appearance of snowdrops...which I associate with my loss (they appeared at about the same time as my loss).

What do you write? I have just completed my first novel (hoping to self publish towards the end of Jan.) One of the central themes of the book is loss/grief.

HillsBesideTheSea · 11/12/2020 21:32

Thank you for the calm energy you sent out Speakout twas felt and appreciated here. Hope you managed to find what you sought.

VioletCharlotte · 12/12/2020 19:30

Good evening sisters. Dropping in to join you all by the fireside. Sending love and solidarity to anyone who is struggling at the moment. So many people are facing challenges at the moment for many reasons. I'm holding a visualisation of us all wrapped in warm, supportive energy.

speakout · 12/12/2020 20:40

VioletCharlotte thank you dear friend.
Your energy is deeply felt and welcome. I too pass on your visualisation to anyone struggling.
A beautiful intention, and I am happy to help manifest.
Daphnesmate04 glad you dropped in again- doors are always open here- regular posters, only those who read and never post, or friends who stop by once in a while- all very welcome.

Evening all I lit a loving pink candle in my witchy silver holder for us all tonight.

BlankTimes · 13/12/2020 01:09

Thank-you Violet I think many people are having more than the usual difficulties lately.

Daphnesmate04 I agree with Speakout's wise words, there's no time limits on dropping in here whether it's silently or to converse, everyone's welcome.

Monolith sighting becomes even more strange today, initially it was reported as being in the centre of the Merry Maidens circle in Cornwall, (please no, think of the irreversible damage) but now reported to be only a CGI monolith activated by a QR code (but still inside the circle, so some damage)

Aerwyna · 13/12/2020 09:34

Good morning friends,
Thank you as ever for all you share here, energetically and food for thought too. I’m another one who has been sitting quietly of late but benefit hugely from the collective energy we generate 🙏

I’m joining in Violet’s beautiful vision, am fascinated by the ongoing saga of the monoliths, stand in solidarity with those wading through difficulties of various kinds, and send thanks to all who keep this space flowing with points of interest and wise words pertinent to us all.

I carved out some time to bring a little Yuletide cheer into my home yesterday, some greenery, a small tree and some lights. I’m glad I did for the energy it brings. I’m working on the premise that whatever I can manage/afford this year is more than enough. My self care and survival tactic amongst the challenges I’ve had has been to simplify and try and get things done early. Getting anything done early is unusual for me!

It’s a cold, wet day here today and I’m glad to be indoors for now, comfy clothes and warm socks. I hope everyone feels some warmth and magic as the day progresses

speakout · 13/12/2020 10:50

Aerwyna

Your tree sounds perfect. souds exactly what you need.
Your cosy day sounds lovely- it's wet and cold here too, I am dressed in comfy warm clothes too, and drinking apple and cinnamon tea to keep warm.
Trying to block out the noise of a Baptist church service being played in the background!

VioletCharlotte · 13/12/2020 19:25

Blanktimes these monolith sightings are so strange. I imagine it just be some kind of art installation (sort of Banksy-esque?) I find it amazing that they appear and then disappear without anyone seeing. Like you, I'm concerned about potential damage and hope whoever is behind it is respectful of these sacred places.

Aerwyna your Yule preparations sound perfect. I totally support doing whatever you can afford/manage, and I'll be doing the same this year. Simple things...Christmas lights, a warm and cosy home, some tasty food...this is all we really need. I'm looking forward to a few days off work and time to rest and unwind.

Speakout your cosy days sounds lovely (although the Baptist service not so much!) I love the smell of apple and cinnamon Smile

Feeling weary tonight after a long walk today. Me and some friends took part in Shelters's Big Walk. Despite the rain, it felt good to be outside and enjoyed being in female company. I've had a long bath with orange and bergamot and a cosy afternoon on the sofa with a blanket and my dog for company.

BlankTimes · 13/12/2020 21:49

Good evening everyone. Violet I echo your wise words. Hope you can move after today's long walk. Epsom Salts, (Magnesium Sulphate) is good for aches and pains in muscles, there are some lovely sprays around. I like this one westlabsalts.co.uk/products/epsom-salt-muscle-spray-50ml-travel-size
I'm a big fan of a comfy blankie too, Aldi have some this week like a wizard's robe with a hood, they are still available www.aldi.co.uk/wizard-adult-3d-hooded-blanket/p/708571432202803

Another monolith, this one's in Australia and has co-ordinates on it. "The top coordinate marks Trump Tower in New York, while the one below takes you to a tiny, uninhabited island named Managaha in the Northern Mariana Islands, near Guam. Bizarrely, the bottom coordinates lead to The Sphinx, in Egypt’s Al Giza Desert."
Like its predecessors, it's disappeared too.

Are the Monoliths created by these people I wonder? www.themostfamousartist.com/headlines

I am looking to buy tiny crystals or chips to use in spell jars- can anyone recommend where I can purchase these from please ?

I've had a very strange few days, with lots of big decisions made. So I'm feeling simultaneously positive and a little wobbly
I hope I've made the right choices
